I have just read in the news that Bill Roache's publishing company, in which he is a major shareholder, has lost over 2 million pounds in the last year or so. Riding's Publishing produces magazines like Lancashire Life, and is based in Blackpool. Two of the other board members/shareholders are Stuart Hall, retired TV presenter, and Owen Oyston, property mogul/estate agent before he went to prison for rape.

I've just been out for the evening and come back to a thread that has lost its marbles - I don't know about Ken Loach Bill Roache being barmy - it's catching. Very, very funny!!!

When I came back from the shops, DH was sounding off about what he'd heard on the news about Ken Loach. It took me a while to work out that it was William Roache he meant !

Feetle I don't think HRH is insane, merely terminally bewildered.
