I do too, Greatnan. There are quite a few really good campaigning organisations that are on the ball in mustering support. Avaaz, One Billion Rising and, dare I say it, the Labour Party are getting more effective by the day. Downing Street must dread opening the door to all the petitions presented to them, especially the half million strong petition for IDS to live on £53 a week for a year. grin

I subscribe to somofus.org and they email me with their petitions. I don't follow up all of them, but they are usually very worth while. They fight for ordinary people, including workers, against the might of big business where there are clear risks to people's lives or health. It is not political.
