Seen on Facebook, the statement that "Michael Gove must be stopped".Those who say "I love you"is the most beautiful three word phrase in English, are overlooking the aesthetic glory of "shark devours Gove"
After his ridiculous ideas for Education do you agree, or disagree?

Well, it's not very nice is it? shock

I expect someone was trying to be clever. smile

Actually, there are so many ridiculous ideas for education floating around at the moment, it's hard to know what came from who.

Ana Fri 13-Sept-13 09:53:03

I wouldn't want him dead. Why are some people so...^extreme^?

Eloethan Fri 13-Sept-13 10:03:35

It's a joke!!

j08 Fri 13-Sept-13 10:05:44

As is this thread. smile

But I'm sure some more sensible posters will be along soon.

Ana Fri 13-Sept-13 10:27:28

Huh!

Iam64 Fri 13-Sept-13 13:37:50

Well - I googled I Hate Michael Gove on Facebook some months ago, and yes, found myself on a site named exactly that.
I dislike the man, his policies, attitudes and I wish he wasn't in the post he is, or any powerful governmental position.
I don't mind him sharing the air we breath - but that's as far as it goes for me

bluebell Fri 13-Sept-13 14:17:27

Well Iam, you may not mind him sharing the air we breathe but I bet if the government of which he is a star could find a way to privatise said air and we then had to purchase it, they jolly well would!

Greatnan Fri 13-Sept-13 14:24:31

I don't wish him dead, just out of government.

Penstemmon Fri 13-Sept-13 14:28:49

I wish him to show us all how he wants it done..put your money where your mouth is Gove..go run a school deemed to be inadequate and turn it into Good in 18months...no extra cash or special treatment..just like the real heads have had to do it.

Really he is a pratt. A 'good idea a minute' man with no real substance to his philosophies.

Simon Jenkins says Gove's approach to education is essentially Leninist.
He wants to extend baseline testing to five year olds. 120 educationists disagreed with him in a letter to the Telegraph yesterday. So that's unemployment for them, then.

Greatnan Fri 13-Sept-13 14:35:20

Oh, yes, I would love to see him taking a bottom-stream class of 15-year olds for the whole of Friday afternoon, preferably in a deprived inner-city area!

Maniac Fri 13-Sept-13 18:47:45

I expressed my low opinion of Michael Gove in an earlier posting.
I agree with Iam64 and Penstemmon -he is a pratt!

Jendurham Fri 13-Sept-13 23:44:33

But then we would miss those lovely pictures of him looking an idiot sitting on primary school chairs, Greatnan.

Private Eye manages to show that photo in most issues! I love it.

Dangerous is what he is. And extremely ambitious. Don't know why he was stupid enough to visit a food bank and say anything this week.

I was trying to put 'michael gove images' inside the square brackets but it didn't work.Try googling it and have a laugh

To be fair, it isn't his fault that has such an exceptionally ugly face and awkward body.

Jan09 Sun 15-Sept-13 21:46:25

Isn't this the man who said earlier this week that anyone who has to use a food bank has only themselves to blame! When did the government's management of the economy start to have nothing to do with poverty?
