Terrible when someone dies so young. Looking at his more recent photographs he actually looks like a heart attack waiting to happen. Bloated, red faced, sweating with a large beer belly.

I did not agree with his militant style politics at all but my condolences are with his family, 52 is far too young.

I thought that he was much older, maybe nearing retirement age.He called himself a communist/socialist by the way, doesn't that mean a tad more than a true socialist? He certainly fought for the rights of his workers and was at odds with Boris Johnson [and for that he gets a certain amount of admiration from me.]

Boris sounded very genuine in his tribute to Bob Crow. They may not have agreed politically for very obvious reasons but Boris sounded shocked at the news and obviously respected Bob despite their differences.
