I`d never heard of this before I saw it on Neighbours a while back.

This is also happening on Pero's Bridge in central Bristol

Then you have forgotten what it's like to be young and romantic and in luuuurve! It's a symbol of eternal love. Together forever. The locks have the initials and little hearts on them, often they have been engraved.

I don't understand why people do this sort of thing in the first place.

Now that one might be a bridge too far! Can you imagine if all the locks are put on just one side...

I noticed that love locks have started appearing on the Millenium Bridge in London now.

We shall rely on you lot over there to keep us updated!

Mind you, it's a good job it didn't fall onto one of the tourist boats. It is a shame though.

What a shame - people make a point of going to look at that romantic bridge.
