Well, that's ruined DH's birthday!!
Hope to be away anyway.

Well I was informed by Mr N that HEwas not going to be away for it, so at least I can make a plan now.

DH usually stays up all night so I might book myself into a spa!

I think I may have to lie down in a darkened room until May the 8th !

Teetime I also have been known to stay up all night and this year it is going to be very close run I think.

I think we have known this date since this government passed the Five Year act. And I suspect everybody involved is regretting it! There might have been a time when "cutting and running" might have been in their interests more than going the full 5 years.

Something to be said for snap elections

BTW THE "Fixed Term Parliaments Act "received royal assent in September 2011 in case anybody is wondering.

I only get back into the UK on 3rd May so I miss most of the rubbish, discussions and back biting.
