Thought I would post this up for those of us who are hoping for the stamina to stay up!

durhamjen Fri 08-May-15 00:04:53

Socialists, 3/3 so far, Ana.

durhamjen Fri 08-May-15 00:04:06

Brilliant! All the papers have the Tories back in power!
Hope they have egg on their faces tomorrow.

GrannyTwice Fri 08-May-15 00:03:50

Bbc saying Danny Alexander will lose - < clutching at straws>

Ana Fri 08-May-15 00:03:42

I have no idea who you voted for, durhamjen - did I say I did? You were the one who said 'we're winning'.

GrannyTwice Fri 08-May-15 00:01:56

Oh dj you've cheered me up - who cares about exit polls?

durhamjen Thu 07-May-15 23:57:32

The left, Ana. Socialists. How do you know who I voted for? It's a secret vote. The green party are socialists.

Yougov exit poll.
Tory 284
Labour 263
Libdem 31
SNP 48
Ukip 2
Green 3
Plaid 3.

Looks much better than the BBC one.

Juliette Thu 07-May-15 23:53:45

Thanks for the link dj I can go to bed happy now.

rubylady Thu 07-May-15 23:51:00

Labour 3/3

Ana Thu 07-May-15 23:48:47

Who's winning, durhamen? Are you watching the same tv channel as I am? confused

rubylady Thu 07-May-15 23:48:43

BBC still forecasting a Conservative win so even though I am getting tired, I am going to have to stay up. confused

durhamjen Thu 07-May-15 23:46:02

What's surprising is the drop in support for libdems. So far they have polled fewer votes than the greens in two constituencies.

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:42:03

I'm in bed with TV on - might put light out and then doze. Nuneaton due at 1ish might finish me off but there's the two Scottish ones at 2ish

durhamjen Thu 07-May-15 23:40:30

We're winning at the moment!
My youngest granddaughter was dancing at Consett Empire tonight, so I went back to her parent's house afterwards and have just got back, having watched the Sunderland votes.
Do exit polls matter?
It was 22000 people in 143 constituencies. 150 people roughly in 40% of the constituencies.

If you want to find out when any constituency gives its declaration, go on
democraticdashboard.com
It just gives the time now on the top line.

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:37:42

Or shock

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:37:20

The UKIP vote so far is a bit [shocked]

Eloethan Thu 07-May-15 23:37:18

I started to watch The Vote but, although the acting was good, I couldn't see what point it was trying to make and switched over. Perhaps I should have hung on as there have been some quite good reviews on here.

I thought "there won't be much happening for a while" so I watched the Hotel Inspector and then turned over to The Alternative Election (one hour behind) or whatever it's called. Thought it was really contrived and stagey so turned on to BBC and was shocked to see the exit poll predictions.

Rushed up to see my husband who was watching the coverage in the loft room. He looked a lot more shocked than me, as he'd been quite upbeat, despite my typically gloom-laden warnings (though I did at least expect a fairly close call).

I'm turning back on now. If it's as depressing as before, I'm going to bed (in a huff).

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:35:32

Does anyone know anything about dj?

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:34:14

Well it's 3/3 now - I told you!

Tegan Thu 07-May-15 23:30:42

I'm going to try to get a few hours sl; will set the alarm for 5'is. Whatever happens to Farage won't he still have his highly paid Europe seat anyway?

merlotgran Thu 07-May-15 23:16:34

No, third.....sorry.

merlotgran Thu 07-May-15 23:12:38

UKIP second?????

whitewave Thu 07-May-15 23:11:39

I haven't seen dj all day does anyone remember if she was doing something?

I am so much at a loss with regard to the polls how could they be so wrong?

Ana Thu 07-May-15 23:09:55

Yeah, right...grin

whenim64 Thu 07-May-15 23:01:51

I'm enjoying Paxo acting the fool. It's great to see him not looking tortured by the job. Yes, GrannyTwice 1/1 has to be an omen grin

grannyactivist Thu 07-May-15 22:55:34
