Thought I would post this up for those of us who are hoping for the stamina to stay up!

Well the exit polls were right in 2010 -here comes 1992.

grannyactivist Thu 07-May-15 22:16:56

Paddy Ashdown says he'll eat his hat if the Exit Poll is correct.

Teetime Thu 07-May-15 22:20:46

I've just seen the exit poll and gone into a terminal decline - off to bed for a few hours talk later.

GillT57 Thu 07-May-15 22:23:48

did anyone watch the play on Channel 4? It was excellent and Catherine Tate was really good. Now watching BBC, shall make pot of tea and hop off to bed and watch tv in bedroom. This is my first GN election ( well it is everyone's I suppose) and I am enjoying discussing, debating, watching with you all. grin

Anya Thu 07-May-15 22:25:58

I'll just wait for morning to get the results.

merlotgran Thu 07-May-15 22:34:02

Nice to see Paxo having a bit of fun. I don't know how long we'll stay up but we wake early so we'll have the telly on in the bedroom.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 07-May-15 22:36:22

Happy smile

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 07-May-15 22:36:44

whitewave Thu 07-May-15 22:38:06

Yes thought the play was so good. I can't believe that it is as bad as predicted. All is not yet lost hmm

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 22:41:52

Oh whitewave - in my gut......sad sad

Ana Thu 07-May-15 22:41:56

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 22:47:02

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 22:50:52

whenim64 Thu 07-May-15 23:01:51

I'm enjoying Paxo acting the fool. It's great to see him not looking tortured by the job. Yes, GrannyTwice 1/1 has to be an omen grin

Ana Thu 07-May-15 23:09:55

Yeah, right...grin

whitewave Thu 07-May-15 23:11:39

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:34:14

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:35:32

Does anyone know anything about dj?

Eloethan Thu 07-May-15 23:37:18

I started to watch The Vote but, although the acting was good, I couldn't see what point it was trying to make and switched over. Perhaps I should have hung on as there have been some quite good reviews on here.

I thought "there won't be much happening for a while" so I watched the Hotel Inspector and then turned over to The Alternative Election (one hour behind) or whatever it's called. Thought it was really contrived and stagey so turned on to BBC and was shocked to see the exit poll predictions.

Rushed up to see my husband who was watching the coverage in the loft room. He looked a lot more shocked than me, as he'd been quite upbeat, despite my typically gloom-laden warnings (though I did at least expect a fairly close call).

I'm turning back on now. If it's as depressing as before, I'm going to bed (in a huff).

GrannyTwice Thu 07-May-15 23:37:20

The UKIP vote so far is a bit [shocked]
