Thought I would post this up for those of us who are hoping for the stamina to stay up!

POGS Fri 08-May-15 03:23:30

I thought it was disgraceful the abuse Jim Murphy took on the campaign trail , if that's the politics of the future you can stick it for me, and I am not Labour!

GrannyTwice Fri 08-May-15 03:19:23

He has a sad face sad

GrannyTwice Fri 08-May-15 03:18:45

High UKiP vote in Wales

POGS Fri 08-May-15 03:18:10

Why am I feeling so sad for Jim Murphy.!

Was it he had so much aggro during the campaign?

soontobe Fri 08-May-15 03:14:47

Labour are doing so badly all over the place.

newist Fri 08-May-15 03:12:22

sad

POGS Fri 08-May-15 03:10:26

Poor old Jim Murphy!

POGS Fri 08-May-15 03:07:26

Conservative gain in Wales though

grannyactivist Fri 08-May-15 03:06:06

Lib Dems got only 80 votes or 0.2% of the vote in Castle Point. I had to see it in print before I believed what I heard.
Two Labour gains from LibDems in Burnley and Ealing Central & Acton from the conservatives.

GrannyTwice Fri 08-May-15 03:03:59

Can't sleep so checked in agsin - Ealing a gain as well - silver lining

Maggiemaybe Fri 08-May-15 02:55:34

Glad I waited - a Labour gain in Burnley.

POGS Fri 08-May-15 02:53:53

UKIP areas not in yet soon, if I am not mistaken

Maggiemaybe Fri 08-May-15 02:51:22

Decided to stay up for the next result from England. It's been a long wait.

soontobe Fri 08-May-15 02:50:43

Am I right in thinking that UKIP are not doing quite so well right now?

Am I right in thinking that there are a lot of women winning seats in the SNP?

POGS Fri 08-May-15 02:50:29

Jo Swinson gone!

I actually feel sorry for Lib Dems

POGS Fri 08-May-15 02:49:03

Out of interest I am flitting between channels 3/4/130 and 132, so far I am finding Sky 132 the quickest for results and coverage. Which do you prefer?

janerowena Fri 08-May-15 02:45:29

I'm watching on this

www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2015/may/07/live-uk-election-results-in-full

It's better for my blood pressure than trying to watch it on tv at this time of night.

POGS Fri 08-May-15 02:42:50

Far too early to play the blame game or make excuses for a poor show.

The night is young and can turn on a sixpence.

Teetime Fri 08-May-15 02:42:34

Hallo - just got up for some tea. Well it all looks depressing- another five years of a Try government. I am genuinely very very sorry and worried for the poor and vulnerable of this country and heaven above knows what will happen to the NHS now. Ed Milliband has got to go!!

soontobe Fri 08-May-15 02:42:15

I was rather astounded, on the thread about tactical voting, just how many said no on gransnet to tactical voting.
Maybe tactical voting did play a part with voters today.

durhamjen Fri 08-May-15 02:35:18

This could explain a lot.

Ah well, off to get some sleep, thoroughly dispirited by the Scottish results.

POGS Fri 08-May-15 02:29:44

Looking like a white wash as predicted for Labour in Scotland !

Some big beasts yet to be announced though.

rubylady Fri 08-May-15 02:22:59

I suppose mine wasn't personal to me, reported in the media.

POGS Fri 08-May-15 02:22:29

Flipping heck wee Dougy Alexander gone!
