I googled ' European law and hat happens if UK leavesEU' found an interesting artićle about European Law and the three main scenarios if we left. I could not find a link - interesting reading and gives a good idea.

What will happen to my son's Danish partner, and her children, one of whom has to have a Danish passport, even though his younger sister is now allowed to have a British one? My other son's wife is Spanish, but she will be okay as she is married to him.
My son's partner feels very upset at the way she hears people talking about people who move over here and take jobs from British people. She could have been teaching your children without you knowing it as she has no trace of a Scandinavian accent. For the first time in over twenty years she has been talking of perhaps moving back to Denmark, as she does not feel welcome here by the British people.
So have your fun, but I will not join in.

DJ. - we know it is but we have been very serious all weekend and I was quite grateful to Trisher for this thread - I guess she was also being sort of ironic - it's so awfully serious that I can hardly believe it might well happen. It is funny really to pretend you are concerned about your duty free allowance when you are really aghast at the prospect of leaving and know that there are people who really really want to. Don't be cross with us please - it's been a tough few days grin

Yes indeed. Let doom and gloom abound! hmm

The idea of leaving the EU is no fun. We should not pretend otherwise. It's far more serious.

Ooohhh - hadn't thought about the duty free issue < writes down another reason to vote to stay in>

Where will we put all the British people who are thrown out of Spain and France etc?

Longer queues at passport control when entering European countries

The amount of money it will cost us to leave.

I have only one real concern, how much will everything cost! Look at how expensive it is to live in Norway. My nephew lives there he can tell you!

If we pull out of Europe after the referendum what will bother you most?
I don't understand all the regulations and rules, but I think it is fun to speculate on what you will miss the most, or what worries you most. I have 3. In no particular order;
Will my local Italian deli close because the owner has to leave?
How much booze will I be able to bring home when I go on holiday?
Will my DSs Polish girlfriend be sent home?
