3 years prison for Al Jazeera journalists

So the 3 All Jazeera journalists Peter Gresta , Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohammed have been sentenced to 3 years in prison by the Egyptian Judiciary.

Has anybody been following this story?

They have been in jail for months and their sentences were repeatedly set back for trial, keeping them in jail for all that time., Greste of course was deported to Australia .

This is a travesty of justice and I hope somehow their story will gain traction and more is done to help them. Too little has been done from the international community in my opinion.

This says so much about the state of the politics in Egypt .

It is said that a further 18 journalists are being held in jail in Egypt.
