Heads are threatening to go on strike over academisation.

Haven't heard about the election expenses fiddle for a while, and I think there was a time limit of a year, which means next week for it to go to the DPP.

However, I have heard of a lawyer who was sent one of Zac's dogwhistle leaflets who has gone to the DPP about them. She is backed up by a firm of solicitors.
Zac seems to have forgotten that Sadiq Khan is not the only Muslim lawyer.

This last attack on those leading the LP was so vicious - by the press as much as anyone - that it makes me think others see the same and are frightened by it.

There are a lot of narcissists at the top of politics (learning a lot about them from The Archers ) and Boris is very much one of them.

Another thing which the Tories foisted on us, and which we are voting for next Thursday are PCCs. In fact in my constituency, the PCC is the only vote next Thursday.

Haven't a clue. I do know that the Kent PCC has stepped down under a cloud as did the young person she employed.

Yesterday watched a depressing programme "This Week" I think which suggested that most of the big institutions are rotten at the top. They went on to list the scandals relating to police cover ups and lies. I had forgotten half of them. Ordinary folk rarely get justice and are frequently blamed for the wrongs. It made me feel very queasy about Briton.

This must be stopped, but it seems that everyone in power with few exceptions is complicit.

I know mine, because I have leafletted for and with him.
Not sure if they should exist, but as they do, I would rather have him than any of the others up for election.
Interestingly, one of the ones standing in Durham wants to abolish the position.
He will also take a pay cut if elected.

We have six potential PCCs up for ejection. I only know the Tory one as he's the only one to leaflet our avenue and he had a stall in Market Square on Saturday.

He reminded me of the Chair of the Parish Council in the Vicar of Dibley, David someone or other....in fact now I come to think of it, it was him

It isn't so much ignored it is suppression. Look at all the the injustice, lies and suppression coming to light over the past couple of weeks after Hillsborough. The list gets longer and longer, and what is happening over the Tory election fraud is yet another example of it.

Talking about Hillsborough, whitewave, I noticed today that there are moves to get an enquiry going on Orgreave, for the same reason, police and political corruption.

I don't think anything is getting any worse ( the things you listed ww) but nowadays things cannot be covered up as they were in the past, everything comes to light that a while ago people never even gave a thought to.

rose what I quoted was from an Andrew Neil This Week programme, where they were talking about Hillsborough. This went on to cover a wider area and it was suggested that the rot is still evident at the top in large institutions, where it is still their first instinct to cover up then lie and blame those without the power to defend themselves. They cited such evidence as the police who were still lying over Hillsborough up to 2 weeks ago, politicians over various scandals whose instinct is to close ranks and wield their power to ensure the media is compliant wherever they can and the NHS whose managers also try to prevent whistleblowing and patients from accessing information when something goes wrong.
It was also stated that ordinary folk no longer have fair access to the law.
