Mo, surely you mean sauce for the Gandygrin

Ana Wed 06-Jan-16 17:49:12

Oh dear, you're probably right! And I'm sure that if one of the male GNetters had said they found a particular female model 'repulsive', as I did about David Gandy, some of us would have been up in arms...blush

rosesarered Wed 06-Jan-16 17:46:58

Yes, so let's get slavering!grin

M0nica Wed 06-Jan-16 17:41:18

The question of objectifying men as sex objects had occurred to me. If it not pc for men to openly slaver over some woman in the public eye, why is it permissible for women to openly slaver over men?

Sauce for the gander should be sauce for the goose.

There is an interesting article in the Times today about whether it is okay to objectify men. It includes David Gandy - though I have to say I prefer Aiden Turner!

Just googled him, he`s OK, but not that special

numberplease Wed 06-Jan-16 00:51:14

Never heard of him

Charleygirl Tue 05-Jan-16 22:42:14

Never heard of him.

Coolgran65 Tue 05-Jan-16 22:29:07

Had to Google him. He's a model.
Don't know quite what it is..... not my type either.

rosesarered Tue 05-Jan-16 22:19:51

Who is he?

Ana Tue 05-Jan-16 22:17:19

Me too. I find him repulsive!

Deedaa Tue 05-Jan-16 22:03:59

Totally agree about David Gandy MOnica Not my type at all I'm afraid.

M0nica Tue 05-Jan-16 21:50:31

Two men 60 years apart in age. Their dress styles will be so different that they cannot be compared. With lists like this you need to know where the listers are coming from and what are the criteria the chosen have to meet.

I think David Gandy is gross, the M&S adverts made me feel ill, until I recognised them quickly enough to avoid them

rosesarered Tue 05-Jan-16 21:47:46

Hardly a fair contest,as to who dresses better, a young man or one in his nineties.
Remember ' I was Kaiser Bill's batman'? Think I actually may have bought that record.?

Anniebach Tue 05-Jan-16 21:38:32

Harry does have a valet, he had a batman when in the army too.

Galen Tue 05-Jan-16 21:04:04

Who?

petra Tue 05-Jan-16 20:59:35

Petitpois. Totally agree Re. David Gandy, yum yum.

Ana Tue 05-Jan-16 20:41:34

I bet he does for very formal occasions!

But yes, Prince Philip is old-school 'better dressed'.

Jane10 Tue 05-Jan-16 20:29:18

Prince Philip is better dressed but most likely not by himself! Harry can dress himself by himself. Doubt he has a valet.

petitpois Tue 05-Jan-16 19:52:52

Apparently Prince Philip is better dressed than his grandson..?! Not sure I'm in agreement...

Personally, I'm just pleased David Gandy has made the list so that there's another opportunity to take a look at him. Quite divine. grin
