So will the under 18s who work there have to bring their mum or dad along as well? Bit of over reaction I think. Suppose they banned all us grans from somewhere because we were being stroppy about something. There would be lots of shouts about 'ageism'.

That's exactly what I thought glammanana!

I wonder why they don't just ban the people concerned with the disturbance surely that would work better than banning innocent teenagers not involved.

I guess they'll have to ask for ID in a lot of cases then. Some adults are also teenagers.

Very brave of them I think. Interesting when you think how many youngsters they actually employ!!!!!

I thught from the thread title that both chains were banning under-18s nationwide (with or without an adult) and was wondering how many customers they'd be left with...grin

Sounds a rough old area. Shouldn't serve them at all. Will just mean more litter dropped. hmm

Some branches in Stoke-on-Trent are banning under 18s after a fight broke out between 20 teenagers! They have to be accompanied by an adult to go in.

Tough call to make, most of their customers are probably school kids!
