If it is, then I'd like to say you need to re-read the thread- there is no 'bashing' there, at all- just stating how obviously unfair it is, and outdated- as the CofE represents only a small part of the population nowadays.

Personally, I don't see why any faith should have a reserved place within the political system, and I would say the same even if all the major faiths were represented.

Didn't take long to find the first bit of information suppressed by Johnson. Sod the children being made ill by toxic air, they don't matter as they are only the deprived. No votes there.

Actually [although I don't know] I suspect that some of the Lords put Cof E on forms about themselves, even when they haven't been near a church for 40 years.It's the standard thing to do.

But Katie King, director at Oxford-based environmental consultancy Aether and the author of the 2013 report, said that the GLA had publicly disclosed the positive conclusions in the report – that the number of people exposed to illegal pollution would fall by 2020 – but had held back the negative findings.

“The crux of the report was about understanding the inequalities of air pollution, so they chose not to make public the findings regarding inequality,” she told the Guardian. “The information that they did take from the report was the positive, that exposure was predicted to fall in the future.”

This is an interesting analysis of the mayoral election.

As is this. UKIP vote was very low in Mayoral Election. Less than 4%. Set this against the 17% across the country in the general election last year. 13% in the Welsh Assembly elections this month.

I was reading an interview with Farage (sorry) and he said he was horrified that Hamilton was selected for Wales and ousted the previous UKIP leader.

Oh did he. There were weeks of squabbling before they finalised the candidates for the Assembly elections. Nathan Gill MEP, AM is actually still the leader of UKIP in Wales, but Hamilton is the leader of the UKIP group in the Assembly.

Neil Hamilton was told off in the Senedd yesterday by the presiding officer, for his intemperate and sexist language last week. He started protesting and she told him she did not want to hear another word from him on the subject. Watch this space.
