A long but worthwhile read. It's pro-Remain (obviously), but it doesn't portray the EU as perfect and debunks some of the pro-Remain arguments. It's full of facts and the likely impact of change plus the benefits of current EU membership.

If people are still dithering, this is a good read, although you'll need to make a cup of tea (or equip yourself with your favourite tipple) before sitting down to read it.

I don't have a problem with staff from other countries Anniebach. Some of the best Drs I've worked with have been Indian and the best nurses Filippino. Does the EU mean to cut back on training places? I don't know how I've got involved with this!
I've been cherry picked myself ie been selected as the best applicant for a job. Previously I've not been picked but sucked it up as the panel chose the best applicant for the job. The patients deserve the best.

According to fullfact, the government cannot meet its immigration target unless we leave the EU. However, the target was unrealistic in the first place. If we leave the EU and then do not allow any EU citizens to come in, the non-EU migrants will still be nearly twice as high as Cameron's idea of reducing immigration to fewer than 100,000.
Therefore, if immigration is your main reason for leaving the EU, that's what you should vote for.

People have to think about what they really want from immigration. We cannot say only those really well qualified can come here to stay and the rest have to go back home.

Watched a documentary , a young British man ranted because he had lost his job and it had been given to an immigrant . Questioned as to why he said - the immigrant was willing to work on until it was dark, I finished at five, I am British !

If we vote out it will be quite amusing seeing the queues of British waiting to wash dishes in hotels, pick fruit and veg on farms

Anniebach I have never suggested what you say and I'm a bit nonplussed at your response! I was merely agreeing with Roses comment that we're all cherry picked one way or another.
I'm firmly with the Remain camp but its not clear cut and other views also hold some value.
