A thread for those who are voting OUT of the EU to make it fair

I have done hours of research and if we vote stay in then Junker ect will clamp down immediately and we will have the euro which is a failing currency already plus we will have no protection against flooding the country with immigrants.

Exactly Petra an apt comparison!

petra Sat 04-Jun-16 16:29:09

My OH has likened the the time Dave went to Brussels with the begging bowl to a game of poker. Dave was holding a royle flush and caved in to a pair of twos.

Are you able to answer my question, gg?

Gracesgran Sat 04-Jun-16 15:46:56

Uh oh! we are being told what to do again. roses I asked I did not tell - perhaps you don't know the difference.

practical Sat 04-Jun-16 15:41:35

what amazes me is the young wanting to stay in for cheap phone calls abroad and things like that, they would do better realising they will be living with their parents for life because they will never be able to afford a house the way the market is going. We have never had such a dire housing situation .

thatbags Sat 04-Jun-16 15:30:55

Because if you do regard those things as okay, I guess that's where the difference in our views lies.

thatbags Sat 04-Jun-16 15:29:55

rosesarered Sat 04-Jun-16 15:27:30

sigh!

I go with gut feeling and no one and nothing will change me wanting OUT, to me it is common sense. It just don't make sense for 27 countries to all want the same thing so of course most things are voted out.

Gracesgran Sat 04-Jun-16 15:24:24

Could we stop the "they" and the nasty pettiness. As for rudeness and certainly as for being outside GNs rules just look back at whose posts have been deleted or caused deletions. Surely you can see what happens when political groups, which is how you seem to see yourselves, separate themselves and deem themselves to be in need of protection. For the sake of a peaceful GN with its usual lively discussions please stop the rather underhand remarks. Nobody who wants to discuss their views and opinions really needs a "support group".

Well, I suppose some of them think there's still a chance of a few conversions before the 23rd (although they seem to have a strange idea of human psychology if they think hectoring and haranguing will change anyone's mind).

Put my vote in the post today, so no hope for me! wink

rosesarered Sat 04-Jun-16 15:17:57

we didn't expect sweetness and light did we, but even so the browbeating tone is surprising.
Roll on 23 rd June.
Meanwhile..... Have a lovely weekend, the weather is improving, we can sit in the garden with a large drinkie.?
Am listening to The Kraken Wakes on radio 4, it's very good and great atmospheric music.

thatbags Sat 04-Jun-16 15:10:36

Which, to get away from, is why this thread was started!!!!!

thatbags Sat 04-Jun-16 15:04:43

And a tendency to bully.

much

Ana Sat 04-Jun-16 14:57:01

I think they would, as well as making uch of their opinion that Outers shouldn't need a 'support' thread if they're so sure of their facts and figures...

thatbags Sat 04-Jun-16 14:47:46

I wonder if they'd have realised how rude they are being in repsonse to a polite request if we'd called it an outies SUPPORT thread, like the support thread for people on a low carb diet?

practical Sat 04-Jun-16 14:43:10

thatbags just seen a post from a while back didn't answer before because I haven't been on
Ah well, nice try, practical, but as predicted, doomed from the start.
Was nice while it lasted wasn't it all pleasant and friendly
but C'est la vie.

petra and our economy?

rosesarered Sat 04-Jun-16 13:12:47

Well, I have been gardening, which is more productive than being on all these threads.
Think that the mocking tones used to all the people supporting Leave, both on forums and in RL by Remainers, will have the opposite effect and drive even more people to vote Out.
But to everyone ( on both sides) the Matthew Paris article is worth reading, and a more relaxed attitude to 'what will be,will be' would be a good thing.

petra Sat 04-Jun-16 13:09:24

Whitewave The German economy. Of course their economy "absolutely flew" their country was absolutely dessemated, it couldn't get any worse.
