The facts of what Cameron agreed with Brussels etc was European News not just UK. Had that been a lie do you not think someone else from another country would have outed him?
I think many of them are telling untruths - Farage has been doing it for years but keep repeating things and people do start to believe it. Poor Boris was put on the spot about the 350 million by Laura and didn't really give a satisfactory answer. Today he has said that the lowering of migrant numbers would depend on a UK Govt if we left the EU - back tracking already.

this was an article in the Telegraph that explained what I already knew, the accounts have never been signed off but this says how it happened when someone wouldn't sign off the accounts.

Well I think you will find that Cameron got the agreement that the UK will NOT need to join the Euro. However should we leave and then crawl back asking to rejoin we would most likely need to join the Euro.

Thanks for being patronising Ana, a simple explanation would have been more help. I have said many time on other threads that I am not very interested in politics. I am however interested in the country that we are leaving for our GC.
So my question stands, perhaps someone would kindly enlighten this political dunce.

I shall say no more than that you are once again spreading things which are not true. You all have the right to vote how you like but please just check that the facts - such as joining the Euro - are correct before spreading them.

I too am voting out. There is not enough accountability for the budget of the EU. In all the years it has been in existence the accounts have never been passed by auditors and yet they keep asking for and spending more and more money. We voted to join a loose trading group, what we have got is an organisation which wants to control every aspect of our lives and even over-rule our courts. We cannot prevent policies which are detrimental to us as we are outvoted by the other nations. We are told we must take more economic migrants (I'm not talking about refugees from war), we are told we cannot deport those who break our laws, we are unable to prevent those who have committed crimes in their own countries from coming here.

We were conned into joining what I was led to believe was a trade organisation. My Italian and Belgian relatives all said the same thing...."Don't do it!"
The Belgian lot told us about the rampant corruption in Brussels and that it was common knowledge that if you could join the happy gravy train you were onto a winner.
I voted to stay in last time but this time I'm not convinced by the inners argument. All the talk about the fact that we can reform the EU by staying in it is nonsense IMO. I just think we will get more of the same and nothing will change if we stay in.

kitty if you don't know you should read both threads and take your time. There is lots of information on you tube

today we have junker saying perhaps they shouldn't have moved so quickly but quickly or not they were going to move onto everyone in the euro yet the countries that are in it are really bad off now. When Heath first joined us in it he said the British public are too stupid to know what's happening until it's too late. That paper has been made public on the freedom of information bill. It had to be kept secret for 390 years.

I've already voted out, mainly because our politicians tell so many lies that I don't believe any of their arguments.
I think it may well be a good thing to stand on our own again.

Think I'll start an 'I don't flipping know' thread. Except that might be even more attractive to the 'inners'.

My instinct says out but I'm a bit scared of the unknown and what would really happen - no one seems to be able to come up with any projections at all.

I've been a ditherer but now firmly in the OUT camp. The main reasons being the right to govern ourselves and control our borders.

Hello, practical. I'm an Outer too because of democracy. I don't think we have enough direct control over the EU bureaucracy. It seems to me to be a too large and cumbersome organisation.

I don't hold out much hope of this remaining an Outers' thread, sadly. I think the Remainsers will tramp over here too and carry on the bombardment.
