Are you watching The Great Debate on BBC1?
I can't imagine that people will change their minds at this late stage. Those who are undecided might find this debate useful.
However, the government have a lot to answer for by putting us in this position, we should not be having this referendum IMO.

I'm not that shocked really, because councillors are always accusing each other of stuff, but some might say she's a bit of a fat cat, whom Leavers are supposed to despise.

Tegan Tue 21-Jun-16 22:46:01

Crikey; how did you find that out dd? That's terrible.

Tegan Tue 21-Jun-16 22:44:17

I'm beginning to find all the clapping etc in these debates almost turn them into a pantomime. Do the people who cheer him actually listen to what he's saying [or not saying]?I'm going on holiday tomorrow so will escape from all of this for a while. Have handed in my vote. There's no more I can do now I guess.

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 22:43:56

Apparently Borises last words were I promise to have a public holiday known as Independence day. Bloody idiot.

Alea Tue 21-Jun-16 22:41:31

That is shocking dd!

daphnedill Tue 21-Jun-16 22:39:53

Hmmpphhh! Why can't the BBC find GENUINE members of the public? The blonde woman who said she runs a small business actually owns quite a BIG estate and letting agency. She's also a councillor in Bexley, who was reprimanded by the council last year for 'gaining financial advantage' and bringing the council into disrepute (whatever that means). She's clearly not some random woman small business owner dragged off the street. I wonder how the EU has affected her business.

Anniebach Tue 21-Jun-16 22:29:21

Boris would hsve received a loud cheer if he had recited Humpty Dumpy, many think him wonderful, baffling.

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 22:25:10

Oh must have been her. Glad when this is all over. But so worried.

Tegan Tue 21-Jun-16 22:13:38

It was the one next to Gisela Stuart...

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 22:12:26

No that was Giselda Stuart. Didmt think much of her

Tegan Tue 21-Jun-16 21:59:15

Is Andrea Leadsom the one who started everything with 'as a mum'?

Tegan Tue 21-Jun-16 21:57:12

So why did Boris Johnson get such a loud cheer sad? All I hear are the same words over and over again...the main one being 'control'. Ruth Davidson truly is amazing; we were cheering her.

Nana3 Tue 21-Jun-16 21:53:08

The 'fact checkers' have surely persuaded the fence sitters now.

WilmaKnickersfit Tue 21-Jun-16 21:38:17

The UKIP woman doesn't come over well and I wish a more likeable person had been chosen.

WilmaKnickersfit Tue 21-Jun-16 21:33:43

That wasn't the question Andrea???

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 21:33:18

Ruth Davidson is outstanding!!! I'm not turning Tory though!!!!

Anniebach Tue 21-Jun-16 21:32:21

The USA has kept peace in Europe? They have been too busy fighting wars in other parts of the world

varian Tue 21-Jun-16 21:30:43

Frances O'Grady has made the important point about the hard won peace in Northern Ireland which woukd be endangered by Brexit

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 21:28:03

Thought Leave didn't listen to experts?

Oh of course we have the USA to thank. Well she doesn't know her history for sure.

Alea Tue 21-Jun-16 21:27:20

If David Cameron goes down, can we have Ruth Davidson for Prine Minister instead?

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 21:26:46

Let's be clear about this grrrrr. Shades of Patel

WilmaKnickersfit Tue 21-Jun-16 21:26:30

Alea I scared the wits out of my husband by clapping and saying (loudly) you go girl!

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 21:25:37

Not a single shot has been fired between the armies in the EU.

Alea Tue 21-Jun-16 21:24:32

Go Ruth Davidson!! It's not like me to clap someone on TV!
Project Fear seems to be the name of the game with the Leave campaign, hinting at secret plans which will not be released until after Thursday. Well answered too, Sadiq Khan. A formidable team.

Luckygirl Tue 21-Jun-16 21:23:56

I have made a point of not watching it as I suspected that it would just be a rerun of all that has gone before only on a grander scale. It sounds as though I am not missing anything!
