Are you watching The Great Debate on BBC1?
I can't imagine that people will change their minds at this late stage. Those who are undecided might find this debate useful.
However, the government have a lot to answer for by putting us in this position, we should not be having this referendum IMO.

Nana look at quandary thread

Tegan Tue 21-Jun-16 20:32:43

Leave are not answering a single question; Boris Johnson is just smirking and interrupting everyone. I've had to take some time out.

granjura Tue 21-Jun-16 20:38:21

Sadiq is amazing and Boris a buffoon who has not answered a single question. So surprised no-one picked up on the fact Dyson has movedhis production line to Malaysia!

As for Switzerland, again- this is ridiculous. The only way they got trade agreeements is by acception free movement of people, same rules and regs, massive money given to the EU and absolutely no SAY whatsoever in Brussels!

Tegan Tue 21-Jun-16 20:40:33

...is it safe for me to go back into the telly room,then...?
..can someone phone in about the Dyson/Malaysia thing??

Anniebach Tue 21-Jun-16 20:41:17

Boris cannot answer the questions , he doesn't know the answers , this is worrying , he is basing his Brexit campaign on what may happen, what may happen doesn't pay wages . Easy for someone with his wealth to shrug off a few years of lower wages, less jobs in the hope things will improve

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:43:11

Boris is a joke. That's not right!!!!!! We can employ Drs etc if we need them

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:44:31

Yes project hate is so right

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:46:26

When the Tories came into power they immediately stopped the special payments to councils who were under pressure from immigrants. So who's to blame for the shortage of school places etc.

varian Tue 21-Jun-16 20:46:53

The debate commentators are making good points, especially Tim Farron who pointed out how many jobs and businesses would lose out if we were not in the EU

Nana3 Tue 21-Jun-16 20:49:02

Thanks whitewave hope I haven't messed up the flow of discussion.

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:51:03

No of course not nothing stops my flowgrin

varian Tue 21-Jun-16 20:51:56

Frances O'Grady has asked about the huge donation to their campaign by th BNP - no answer

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:53:58

The Turkey thing it isn't going to happen. First of all they say that the EU will impose stuff next they say that the UK is going to let in Turkey. What a load of nonsense

Alea Tue 21-Jun-16 20:54:15

Boris needs to be reined in! He speaks extremely plausibly and people believe him because he sounds authoritative. Like the niqab Welsh speaking story - never let the facts get in the way of a good soundbites.
Well spoken Ruth Davidson taking him to task for changing his stance on Turkey.
Oh this is worse than shouting at Rob on the radio!

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:54:38

Scare tactics disgraceful

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:56:27

whitewave Tue 21-Jun-16 20:57:45
