Please don't use the expression "all the architects of brexit"
All the real architects I know were vehemently opposed to brexit, as were all the leaders of the architectural profession.
I know it is a colloquialism, but the description "architect" is protected by the Architects Act and anyone falsely presenting themselves as an architect when their name is not on the Architects Register can be prosecuted.
Try "promoters of brexit" or some other expression - I'm sure some less than flattering description will come to mind!
So all the architects of Brexit have now jumped ship or have been pushed. Serves them right. and left others to clear up the chaos created in their wake.
Thank god we don't have to go through a summer of uncertainty. Leadsom's flakiness found her out. So all the architects of Brexit have now jumped ship or have been pushed. Serves them right.
The timing of Brexit and Cameron's resignation has been just appalling. How can they now expect for the country, and the rest of Europe which is being seriously affected to, to now wait until September?
During this time, the bankers and stocktraders are bleeding the country dry, making millions on the back of brexit- and 100s, maybe 1000s of companies are planning their relocation to Europe or elsewhere.
Waiting till September to sort this mess out is suicidal.
For goodness sake at every election there will be those who can say the PM/government has been thrust up on me. It's called a democratic vote.
You can 'For goodness sake' as much as you feel the need POGS but it doesn't stop the fact that a PM or a Government standing on a completely revised manifesto is usually voted in with the whole country able to vote not something like .02% of the population.
I think the £3 membership so that one could vote in a leadership election was brought in my Miliband in 2014. That's what I'd understood from stuff I've read anyway. Could be wrong.
