BORIS? Foreign Secretary? I can't believe it. I take back what I said about Theresa. She must have lost her marbles already. So sad. She showed such promise

I keep deciding to turn the news off and do the washing up (everyone else left the house before loading the dishwasher - I know, nothing changes) I'm beginning to feel like a news junkie. The past couple of weeks have been like the news on speed (drugs not speed dial I mean). Not that I've ever taken speed but I have been around folks who do, scary and fast just like recent events.

Hey Wilma, total agreement from me again. Consensus breaking out. I believe Theresa is the best person for the job right now.

PS I hope there's no place in the Cabinet for Gove or Johnson.

She could have said many things at that moment, but she chose to directly address the sections of our society who need help the most. She sounded like an honourable woman and we will see how much progress she makes.

She also didn't sound patronising like Margaret Thatcher or William Hague. Their voices alone set my hackles rising.

At a time when there's no effective opposition, she seems the best choice for PM and as I said, I wish her well. Perhaps our second female PM will not prove to be as divisive as our first. Let's face it though, it's not a difficult challenge.

Jalima I thought the same, nobody needs to get hot under the collar because somebody else ( a total stranger) makes either a funny comment or a jibe about the party they vote for.

'Given the mood of the people'......which people,some of us are happy about leaving the EU and also think she will make a good PM.

Given the mood of the people at this moment in time she couldn't really say anything else, could she. 48% pretty angry and the rest all expecting Utopia. Wouldn't like to be in her shoes...

I'm quite sure that she's sincere but making things actually happen is another matter.
