Why should Saudi Arabia have a place on the Human Rights Council when it is so obviously violating the rules?

I know it is not that simple but, just announced by Pritti Patel that Britain is going to increase the aid budget to Yemen by £37m to around £100m. To counteract the effects of the arms that we are selling the Saudis. What a twisted and wicked state of affairs.

We sell planes and weapons to Saudi Arabia, which are used in Yemen.
If we didn't sell them.....

Heavens yes, it was just shocking. I remember Biafra many many years ago when my now,51 year old son was a baby and how it shocked and upset me beyond belief. Now, watching yet another repeat of the same ghastly saga, I just feel complete despair.

The Russians/Syrians?!!! According to Russia the convey was attacked and destroyed by the small armoured vehicle accompanying the long line of bulk carriers transporting aid!!!! Well, 'if you say so'!!! Impossible is a word that comes to mind!!!! Another version is that the convey was attacked in retaliation of America's/Britain's mistaken attack on Syrian troops! Whatever the truth of the matter, Russian misinformation is a theory, nothing can justify attacking food aid for starving people. Putin just laughs at us, runs rings round us, and there is damn all we can do about it and he knows it!! (despair)
