Well that was interesting. I should say Panarama was also enlightening but not as forceful and uncompromisingly direct in it's reporting content as Dispatches.

I'm not going to simply post on the Lib Dem Thread which has turned into a Labour Thread as I think this programme summed up exactly what I have thought and have been posting since the formation of Momentum , it is a ' Party within a Party.'

I will say now to those who will see it as propaganda and take umbrage at my post you cannot argue with what you see and hear from the horses mouth, no matter how hard you might try and no doubt will.

The fact Momentum are doing all they can to play down the Momentum name in connection to the ' Jeremy for Labour ' Campaign , the use of the Unite Union office are significant, the way the reporter was paid is serious stuff and I hope there is further investigation into that. Will anybody take it up I wonder?.

Has anybody 'Cicked' on the ' Jeremy for Labour ' Campaign or answered questions on the phone in connection with it. The reason I ask is if you have you are, as I understood it, on the data base on the Jeremy For Labour Services?. Listen to what is said about it , you may not be too happy, or maybe you will of course.

There is to be fair a Momentum explanation and statement at the end of the programme but it is worth viewing to make your own mind up if you didn't catch it.

He was hardly likely to be heckled by his fan-club, was he?

durhamjen Wed 28-Sept-16 22:51:41

You didn't watch it either, did you?

How was he protected on a stage all on his own? Anyone could have shouted out anything they wanted.
Everyone seems to be saying his speech was good and the delivery was good.

A fairer country in a peaceful world.
What's not to like.

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 22:34:19

There was overspill, the momentum hall was empty because the cult moved to the conference hall to create the overspill, it was stage set as all his momentum rallies are, some leaders speech where most of the M.P's left the hall before the messiah climbed down his mountain to give his words of wisdom to the country

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 22:26:34

Brave? he wasn't going to be shouted down, big difference in the power of his speech today than any interview he gives. He was as usual protected.

durhamjen Wed 28-Sept-16 22:24:17

Did you watch it?

Ana Wed 28-Sept-16 22:19:54

Brave my eye! He's hardly going to be worried about being criticised by any of his adoring fans, is he? And he doesn't seem to care about anyone else.

This is interesting, a text sent to someone who was not a Corbyn supporter.
It didn't work, though. The hall looked full to me, and there was an overspill.

durhamjen Wed 28-Sept-16 22:08:27

Not the same as watching it.

I thought he was very brave to say what he did about immigration.

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 16:02:22

The texts I received were on Corbyns speech

whitewave Wed 28-Sept-16 16:00:05

By all means I will be glad to hear your comments on the texts you receive annie

I was just hoping to hear your comments on the Leaders speech.

whitewave Wed 28-Sept-16 15:58:19

Which station are you watching.

rosesarered Wed 28-Sept-16 15:57:34

Yes, perhaps we need re-educating.

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 15:55:33

Some poor woman stsrted to give her opinion and was screamed down by a very hysterical woman, just like this forum really

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 15:50:11

I have received text messages through out from the hall, will listen to the discussions which follow and I will comment when I choose to

whitewave Wed 28-Sept-16 15:29:00

Oh annie how can you comment then? That is a shame.

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 15:22:17

I did settle down to listen to him whitewave but when the momentum chant started I switched off

whitewave Wed 28-Sept-16 15:03:25

Are you watching Corbyns speech annie?

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 14:59:26

Thank you for your kind wishes for the house move , wish I had the date.

Jess I don't need fans, never have .

Roses, yes the attacks were and are unpleasant but the difficult part wasn't being honest about my views on Corbyn, it was realising I was not only wrong about Corbyn but about some I had come to care for as friends only to realise I was just useful to them and there was no friendship .

Niggly, we will never agree on politics but we can respect each other

Devo ?

rosesarered Wed 28-Sept-16 14:47:26

Well, only fair Jess am sure that you have one too ( we can start one!)

JessM Wed 28-Sept-16 14:46:09

Glad you have your fan base AB smile

nigglynellie Wed 28-Sept-16 14:32:47

I too admire the way you've stuck to your guns ab despite some really unpleasant, at times bullying comments you've endured just for voicing your opinion which you are perfectly entitled to do. You're braver than me!!!

rosesarered Wed 28-Sept-16 14:21:28

That's ok niggly we can pillary right back! grin Just wish more posters would comment ( in whatever way) it's always the same few.
It can't have been easy for ab to say what she thinks of Corbyn wrecking Labour's chances and former 'friends' have chosen to give her a very hard time on this forum for daring to speak out.I doff my invisible hat annie to you, and wish you well in moving house.smile?

nigglynellie Wed 28-Sept-16 12:56:57

Good luck with your move ab! Having moved fairly recently (102 miles), I know it can be exhausting, so try and pace yourself, a bit!! I know we will never agree politically, but I for one will miss your posts, some of which I do, tentatively agree with, which does bear out your comment that we should all be able to air our different opinions and discuss them openly and respectfully and if necessary agree to differ without being pilloried. Wishful thinking?!!

Devorgilla Wed 28-Sept-16 12:50:50

We will miss you AB. Good luck with the move and redecoration.

Anniebach Wed 28-Sept-16 12:06:21

Anyway , I am moving house , have two bungalows to decorate and will, when I do move in a few weeks be off line for a while. Good news for some here
