The 1972 Act that enshrined the EU law into UK law is to be repealed. The existing EU laws will remain and get repealed as necessary in future.

That will of course very much depend I assume on the negotiated settlement with the EU.
No other EU law will now enter UK law.

But but but nobody has answered my question yet.

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 16:49:19

Humph!!!!grin

durhamjen Thu 13-Oct-16 16:48:54

How many times have we been told to lighten up on politics threads?

nigglynellie Thu 13-Oct-16 16:45:21

Intellectual or not, (I'm not) it's still a conversation I'd expect from my 9 year old grandson with accompanying giggles! Hardly from thoughtful grannies!

Jalima Thu 13-Oct-16 16:38:50

sorry blush
although you don't mean me, I would never claim to be intellectual grin

nigglynellie Thu 13-Oct-16 16:37:33

What a pathetic conversation! Honestly for intellectuals you're childish in the extreme. Is that all you can find to sneer at,the way somebody dresses? FGS grow up!

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 16:11:37

She couldn't have been showing her knickers as it would have made the papersgrin

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 16:10:32

It didn't meet at the back

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 16:10:16

So what could I see underneath it then?

Ana Thu 13-Oct-16 16:08:41

Yes, he's got to stick with at least one of his principles...grin

rosesarered Thu 13-Oct-16 16:08:31

We could argue about it if you like?grin

rosesarered Thu 13-Oct-16 16:07:57

Definitely a pale blue skirt ww

rosesarered Thu 13-Oct-16 16:07:14

Oh he never does that button up.....on principle grin

Jalima Thu 13-Oct-16 16:07:02

The skirt looked too big, perhaps it is an old one.
The rest looked OK I thought.
Jeremy looked OK apart from his missing top button

It wasn't 'Dress Down Friday'

Jalima Thu 13-Oct-16 16:05:14

Not the most flattering light blue skirt and Jeremy forgot to sew on the top button of his shirt which he has lost apparently.

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 16:04:34

Not sure. She does seem to wear her clothes a tad tight so probably no room for a vest/camisole.

Jalima Thu 13-Oct-16 16:01:49

I have to have a look now.
Did she have a vest camisole on underneath?

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 15:38:19

Looked like an overall over a navy skirt to me

rosesarered Thu 13-Oct-16 15:36:16

Looked like a pale blue skirt, with a dark jacket and a blue patterned scarf to me.confused

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 15:32:38

Oh I've never joined that consensus. But how was it criticising?? I merely asked why she was wearing an overall. It isn't something that would immediately spring to mind for ones choice of apparel. Perhaps she'd dashed out after cleaning the floor and forgot to take it off?

Ana Thu 13-Oct-16 15:29:04

I thought we weren't supposed to comment on politicians' dress-sense?

Or is it OK to criticise TM's choice of clothes, but not Corbyn's?

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 15:26:33

grin yes I am afraid you are right.

Can anyone enlighten me why she was wearing an overall at yesterday's PMQs?

durhamjen Thu 13-Oct-16 15:25:02

This is her high point, whitewave.

rosesarered Thu 13-Oct-16 15:20:58

It could get much worse.... there could be a GE and Corbyn would be PM! Just a joke btw.

whitewave Thu 13-Oct-16 15:16:18

See university opinion is that Cameron is one of the worst PMs ever. Wonder how May will shape up. Not doing very well so far. Still as we are so fond of saying- it's early days - it could get worse.
