Annie, why can the UK not be the first to stop selling arms to other countries, particularly those in the middle east?
We are guilty of breking UN laws by knowingly selling to a country that we know is going to use them to attack another country.

On our local radio this morning there was a discussion about three 18 year old Syrian boys who had been accused of sexually molesting two 14 year old schoolgirls.

It went to court and they were found not guilty. It shouldn't have gone to court as it was obvious to the defence solicitors that the girls had made the story up.
These are Syrian families who came here under Cameron's kind offer to take refugees.
They are so mortified and offended that they are saying they would have been better off if they had stayed in Syria.
I am ashamed to be British when that can happen here.

djen and any other posters on here who are saying that 'others are just as bad' (so the UK is just as bad as what Russia is doing daily?!) are frankly in denial about the role that Russia is playing and the slaughter ON PURPOSE that they are taking part in. Stop The War is only really interested in any aggression as they see it by the West, and would not condemn Russia.They are a right shower ( as my Grandad would have said.)
