giving inheritance to grandchildren

what do we think? as it happens, I'm already doing this - my children are comfortable and have their own houses, albeit with a mortgage still. It's the youngsters who will struggle to get on the housing ladder, as they've all three decided to study/settle in London!

The very fact that a government minister is, yet again, telling us what to do with our own property, is more likely than anything else to make me decide to do the exact opposite!

Sometimes I get a bit irritated with the accusation that our generation are somehow robbing the young. I'll leave my estate to the local dogs' home if I feel like it. I doubt if I'll feel like it but I reserve the right.
