No I am not- so didn't access that article. It is a well known fact, and has always been though. This is what all other countries have to do to be part of Trade Agreement with EU.

Yes, this is what happens with every country that has reciprocal agreements with EU- they have to pay as much as members, but without any say whatsoever into any rules and regs, which they just have to adhere to - whilst at the same time, agree to free movement of people.

But it seems the UK will somehow manage to get the one, without the others. It's a mystery- it really is.

Says who? They would probably be debated with different points of view, perhaps passionately. But at least if would be a debate. If one side refuses to give proper arguments, or links, or experts... that is nto debate.

This comment just does not make sense Ana. Ypou can't, on the one hand, refuse to provide links to the experts or points of view you choose to believe- and then refuse to read the ones provided by others- and make comments like the last one.

Total contradiction. Tell me what you read and share, as some of us do. We can this discuss all, even from different points ov view. Otherwise there is no debate, just attacks.

I've just had a look at the last 5 pages of the Theresa May thread- and there is no debate at all, just nonsense and accusations flying... and veiled attacks.

It just goes to show how people only see what coincides with their own prejudices and beliefs.

Because Roses, there is no other road really. The Uk want to say, we want full access to the single market but we do not want free movement of people. Just like Switzerland has been saying for 2 years - and the answer is clear- this is not up to debate, and you can't have one with the other.

Well at least it would provide an intelligent debate.

Having lived for such a long time in both Roses, I am fully aware that the UK is not Switzerland - truly.

Also, Switzerland is not the UK.

Many other experts are predicting that the UK will indeed have a happy ending, eventually. Depends which 'expert' you choose to believe!

Not being privy ( unlike you) to what goes on in anyones head, I should think that Johnson didn't make up his mind until the last moment, he wrote the article more or less listing pros and cons and ended it with the conclusion that we would be better out.

How do you know granjura exactly what anybody on here reads about, short answer is that you don't, so why try and tell us.

No Roses- as I haven't heard any experts predict Armagedon. Many experts are predicting an extremely bumby ride with no happy ending for the UK.

BTW, my own country has just spent the last 2 years trying to renegotiate free movement of people which is intrinsically part of a Trades Agreement with the EU - and has lost a great deal already during that period.

You seem to be obsessed with the Daily Mail and the Sun, granjura - why on earth do you assume that anyone who disagrees with you must read those particular publications?

Have you bothered to read thatbags' link on the 'Theresa May Mark 2' thread? You might find it interesting, in view of your view of Boris as such a despicable character...

If you bothered to listen and read what they say, and then find well grounded arguments to counter what they say- that would be interesting. However- this pre and post Brexit 'I don't care what experienced experts say' is truly scary and not conducive to any kind of debate. Sad that.
