I am not going to put a link up to wikileaks releases concerning Soros/Clinton/Ukraine/Albania/funding but it makes intetesting reading and ignored by the British Media , probably because they are too hot to handle.

Is MovedOn a major source of the obvious orgainised protest campaign against Trump and if so what does it say about the thought the protests are simply 'the people' coming together to have their say, as some believe to be the case.

I fear things will get far worse over the coming days probably but the irony is it is coming from the left of politics , as I said before The Game Keepers have turned Poacher, that is of course if you have always believed the nasty side of politics always comes from those on the right.

The pin's for when I take the hat off, which I frequently do, e.g. when going into a shop. I don't seem to have a very good body thermostat. Spend my life taking layers off and putting them back on as I get hot and cold. I've lost a few hats by not attaching them to my bag (there isn't always room inside; it depends on the hat) and last year I lost a favourite one.

I could use a carabina instead, I suppose....

I'm actually quite shocked at the safety pin message thing, I mean that people feel so afraid of their fellow human beings. Don't misunderstand that; I don't mean it in an unsympathetic way. I'm sorry that people do feel like that.

Well, well, whatever next! I've always had a safety pin attached to my bag. It was a nappy pin for a few decades but recently it's even bigger. Its actual use is to prevent me losing my hat. Fortunately I'm safe to talk to as well and always have been so there will be no confusion. So relieved! ? LMAO

I am just hoping that DD does not decide to put a safety pin through her lip to show her students from worldwide that she is safe to talk to.

I'll continue to conduct myself the way I always have done in my home town,and anywhere else I go.Huge immigrant population compared to most places,big university, very diverse.And that is showing the same courtesy ,kindness and respect to every one.Unlike the yob that cut me up on the road today and stuck 2 fingers up because I had the temerity to drive just below the speed limit !
Hopefully people will work out as a very small,generally smiley,middle aged woman I pose no threat and am 'safe' to talk to.Ask any of my family and the most risk I pose is to myself because if I saw someone dropping litter,abusing an animal or verbally or even physically abusing someone I'm likely to speak up or even intervene.It has been known!

but why? If you disagree with someone why have solidarity with them, or you think their behaviour is not what you think fit then why have solidarity with them just because they are female?

As evidenced by the USA election - there was not much solidarity in some areas as female voters did not all flock to vote for Hillary.
I think her team were complacent about getting the female vote but she failed to connect with many women.

I started wearing a safety pin weeks ago, so did my friend who came here from Austria in the 1940s.

Those rockers were brave, weren't they, in those temperatures.
But like he said, everyone wants to leave some day, it's just they obviously can't get jobs anywhere else.
