The cost of Brexit for us; the ordinary people

I was responding to "Brexit and the cost of it". I wanted out but the remainers keep harping on about how unfair it all is instead of seeing how things go and supporting it, there is always a transitional stage and learning curve in any big changes that happen in life. Eventually it will work out for the best but it will take time. I might not see it but hopefully my grandchildren will.

I have also given them money in the hope that Farage gets taken to court for what he said.

Some MP came up with a truly brilliant idea a few months ago. He suggested that pensioners pick cabbages and potatoes to earn their pension and make up the labour shortfall. Sorted!

Anyway I've had to put up with the constant whining of people who didn't like the EU for the last 40 years. I don't suppose I've got 40 years left, so I'd better make the most of it while I can.

PS. Hope Not Hate is crowdfunding to take Farage to court for accusing them of violent and undemocratic tactics. Farage has now questioned why they need more money. You couldn't make it up! Isn't Farage supposed to be doing his job as an MEP? Ooops, silly me! He never did. The self-styled man of the people just took the salary and expenses.

Lucky for 40+ years the anti EU Group kept on about the EU and wanting to get out of it - those of us who wished to remain in have only been going for 6 months - another thirty nine and a half to go .

Because if the economy does, as Leavers assert, improve, we will need a bigger Labour force. And even if it just totters along, we are not producing enough doctors, nurses and computer programmers. And then there are care assistants...
And what did you think of Nigel Farage and Aaron Banks, yesterday, having a go at Brendan Cox? Seems he's an extremist who is politicising his wife's death and supporting an "unpleasant" organisation called Hope Not Hate?

Well maybe its going to be "all change" then in a future election. Let's hope so. Unfortunately we don't have many to choose from YET. It will follow.

mass immigration of BRitish people in other parts of EU - much more than the other way round btw. How are you going to stop privatisation - when most of our energy suppliers and vital services and transport are privatised already- and sold to the 'enemies' that will be able to control us through them.

I don't think it's Brexit that's 'opened the door to Tories in permanent government' - more like a lack of decent opposition leadership!

Privatisation needs to stop also, which is another issue entirely.

As the Brexit vote and its aftermath seems to have opened the door to Tories in permanent government I think we'll see hell freeze over first.

Not lies, as Ive said Ive seen what's been going on with my own eyes.

The majority in England has democratically voted out.

I have seen with my own eyes what mass immigration has done, more so in the last 10 years to working class (the majority) of our land.

Every other EU country then needs to decide for themselves what to do about immigration. I for one am proud that we finally found our back bone and said no.

Hopefully the EU will fold.

If you can't accept a large % were swayed with pure lies, like the 350m a week for the NHS, and Farage's posters, etc- then you do have to take a long hard look at the reality out there.

The immigrants people tend to object to are those from outside the EU, who will be able to come in much bigger numbers than before, as the EU, and in particular France- will not be stopping them. Immigrants are coming back to Calais in expectation of FRench asking for border checks to be taken away from Calais ports...

If you cannot accept a democratic vote and have to keep mythering on and changing what has been done then maybe you need to take a long hard look at yourself and wonder why.

All will be better than living in hell.
