I believe you have changed your mind Annie - who could not. Some of the others are rather more suspicious and Nuttall's is very iffy. Even if he really has changed his mind he may change it back again whilst some of the others you mention have stuck with what they have said and followed up on it.

This is serious, I have to defend Nuttall. He has changed his mind in the NHS, Corbyn allegedly changed his mind on leaving the E.U, he said with hindsight he was wrong claiming Hamas as his friends . Clegg chsnged his mind on tuition fees, Cameron changed his mind often.

I changed my mind on Corbyn as leader, people do change their minds

dj it might be and probably is alternative facts as it's difficult to keep up with what is true and what is not.

This is interesting. Paul Nuttall says he has changed his mind on the privatisation of the NHS, saying the NHS doesn't have enough doctors and nurses.

I wonder if Ukippers agree with him.

There are quite a few people who think we have already left the EU I think - so why they should vote UKIP I can't imagine.

Some of them voted Remain. I spoke to a young girl working in a shop just after the referendum who thought we had come out immediately after the referendum.She wasnt particularly bothered I dont think, probably did as a parent or boyfriend told her.

And of course most of the unaware didnt vote at all!

Gillybob, it was more than a case of badly chosen words. "perhaps her mistake was to name names. never a good idea unless you have absolute proof". She named three people, including Sarah Champion, a local labour MP, saying they knew about child sexual exploitation but did nothing. That was not true, I don't know if she deliberately lied, she may just have spoken hermpersonal prejudiced ideas and not expected to be sued and found to have libelled these people.
She was in the wrong in a big way. She's been found out

"Accused" does not equal "found guilty in a court of law" . It's like that other useful word "alleged".
If I wasn't being so careful, I could have posted something like "He is a proven liar and cheat" But I didn't.

Perhaps it would have been better if Jess had used the word 'caught' instead of 'accused'. Nutall was caught lying about several things. There is evidence.

Well let's have a look at all the ukip representatives then look to see if they have been accused of lying. Shan't bore you with the result as you will know them.

Stock in trade is going a bit far ( for any political party) but there do seem to be a lot of deceitful politicians around, probably always have been, but easier to find them out these days.

To prove a libel case in this country you only have to prove that what you say is true (it didn't used to be like that). If she has been found guilty she was saying something she could not prove to be true. Isn't that usually a lie?

I see the UKIP rabble have taken on the alternative fact idea with enthusiasm. We all know about Nuttall and Farage, but Jane Collins a ukip mep has been fined 150k. She lied about some Labour people.
