Apologies if there is a new Trump thread, but the only one I could find had hit the magic 1000 posts mark.
Just seen this on Facebook. Makes excellent sense.

Its official Fr Merkel announced today that America is no longer to be trusted.

I thought John Sopel looked exhausted on the Marr show as well he might be with his BBC job of listening to Trump every minute of his working life.

Apparently trump went by golf buggy to the G7 photo op.

Unlike optimistic Australians.
Every statement sounds like a question because they probably wonder why the rest of the world is not as good as them grin grin

Did anyone see Newsnight last night - WOW!! It seems to me that Trump is a dead duck. Loved the juxtaposition with the Godfather.

The argument is that Trump has been funded by dirty money from the Russian mafia which in turn leads to the Kremlin.

His son in law is now being investigated.

Secret channel to Moscow?

And did I see a big grin from Angela a few seconds after?

durhamjen Sat 27-May-17 01:10:00

Well done, Macron. Putting trump in his place.

One thing that I think that has come out of Manchester is that it is clear who we can rely on for mature levelheadedness with understanding, are the Europeans, certainly not America!

I took it as a 'thump' at the end, meaning 'You better believe me!'

durhamjen Thu 25-May-17 21:18:31

Have you noticed how whenever trump speaks, his voice goes down at the end of a sentence, as if he's very disappointed in whoever he is talking to?
Unlike optimistic Australians.

durhamjen Thu 25-May-17 18:58:32

Do you think trump saw it - or even noticed it?

I've noticed today that May is supporting fracking because the tory party have been given nearly £400,000 by the oil and gas industry.

See www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/greenpeace-trump-vatican_us_5924f3e5e4b0650cc02002ec ....

durhamjen Thu 25-May-17 14:21:34

Did you see that Greenpeace lit up the Vatican before trump arrived?

AlieOxon Thu 25-May-17 13:44:33

I've passed this on to my oldest friend in Queensland

durhamjen Wed 24-May-17 23:05:17

act.350.org/sign/paris-response

Trump could back out of the Paris agreement on climate change. This is to persuade him not to.

durhamjen Sat 20-May-17 17:19:16

Interestingly May's husband worked for Capital Group in the very department running Amazon. He now works in their pensions portfolio.

AlieOxon Sat 20-May-17 16:55:25

Just seen that. They are now pressurising Amazon.

durhamjen Sat 20-May-17 15:25:04

Good news from www.sumofus.org

We just hit a major milestone: 2,000 companies have now ditched Breitbart (A.K.A. Trump News)!

And here's more good news in case you missed it: because of your pressure, phone calls and tweets, we got e-commerce giant Shopify and online comment platform Disqus to adopt hate speech policies, too! The policies aren't perfect -- but they are progress and proof that pressure from you works.

Shows that real people can stand up to trumpnews.

durhamjen Sat 20-May-17 00:24:26

For anyone who wants a laugh.

durhamjen Wed 17-May-17 23:14:00

It's now because all the media are not giving him a chance.
Former FBI director now made special investigator into whether Russia meddled in the election!

durhamjen Wed 17-May-17 23:11:38

Hope May didn't tell him too much when she was holding his hand.

Watergate size and scale now.

whitewave Wed 17-May-17 20:17:37

American intelligence have been telling their allies "Be careful what you tell us, as we can't be sure it will be safe with us because of our President"!!!!!!

Hope our lot are being careful

whitewave Wed 17-May-17 20:09:25

Apparently Trumps bragging to the Russians concerning ISIS has put an Israeli spy at serious risk.
