A little light relief to counter some of the doom and gloom in the news

I sent this to a friend in the US. A few years ago we visited Hever Castle, Anne Boleyn's childhood home, mistimed our return train and sat for an hour at that station - cows on the platform would have made a welcome distraction from the wind and cold!

This was on my local BBC news. According to their report the cows were originally on the tracks and they managed to get them onto the platform.

The herd had probably heard that the carriages were a load of cattle trucks.

Thanks for a good laugh MawBroon. I know people on Southern Rail have complained about being treated like cattle, never thought it could be the other way round.

I did think it might be the usual Southern Rail bullshit.

Certainly gives a new meaning to being herded onto a train!
