I am no Osborne fan but staying on when they had such a small majority was all he could do. I imagine this will have him feeling very cheerful and, as you say ww, if the Conservatives get back in he can attack those who made his and DC's life difficult.

Osborne has quit because he wants to use his post as editor to fire broadsides st May. He could hardly do that as a member of her government.

If May doesn't do well she will be gone, just as the other parties leader's if they don't Jen. I could see another referendum in Scotland but hope they would wait to see if what is on offer is what they want.

Why would anyone want to vote for a so called 'good leader' who is going to put in action policies they don't believe in. Surely leaders come in many shapes and sizes (politically) and do not have to be headmistressish, lady of the manor, squireish, or Downton look alike in this day and age; the issue is the policies surely.
