Buzz feed has been banned from all labour campaigns and McClusky's aide has been selected to stand in Liverpool , wonder if Derek Hatton will become events organizer

I have feared it Rosesareredbut now I want it to split. I do not want to be a member of a party run by fsr left militants and this is happening. There are so many good labour MP's who cannot support the far left . We need a party of the centre and centre left

Well, let's hope the rumour mill is true, high time Labour MP's broke away and formed a more centrist political Party.

I now think it is time for the Labour Party to split . Corbyns speech yesterday was obviously a party leadership speech . He was appealing to the far left with no thought of reaching out across the country for votes to win the general election.

My local hospital charges £1.25 per hour. Presumably there has to be at least some charge because someone has to make sure that people are not misusing the car park, and there are also maintenance costs.

I would think that there should be some sort of dispensation for close family who come to see their loved ones on a regular basis (maybe there is in some hospitals?).

Apparently hospital workers in some hospitals have to pay car parking charges, which I think is totally wrong, especially as they often work early morning and night shifts.

It's no surprise, but there are rumours that a breakaway group of about 100 Labour MPs are planning to leave the party and form a separate party, if Corbyn stays on after the election.

Also...the CPS is going to make a statement tomorrow about election expenses. Rumours are that there will be no case to answer.

The NHS Reinstatement Bill was talked out at the same time.

There was an EDM in parliament last year and it was talked out by Philip Davies.
If he hadn't done that, it could be law now, and the Tories could have taken the credit for it.

I remember once when my husband and I had just left the Freeman where he had just had radiation treatment for the cancer that killed him, there was a woman at the ticket machine feeding it, and I was surprised at how much she was putting in.
She was from Cumbria, and her husband had had to come to the Freeman because it was the only hospital that could treat her husband.
He had been in there for a couple of weeks and would probably be there for another couple at least.
It was costing them a fortune, and she was driving for hours, and I wondered why she did not stay over in Newcastle. She had to get back for her children. It was the only thing that was keeping her sane, seeing the children every morning and night.

Think so Jalima. When my DDIL went into hospital to have DGD last year, she had some complications and had to stay in for about 10 days. My DS said that he was putting in £12 a day for parking fees so that he could stay with her. Huge amount of money for anyone but prohibitive for those on low income. You even have to pay if you're only dropping a friend or relative off for an appointment and not actually stopping with them. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

Hence people may call for ambulances when they may not necessarily need one Chewie

My local hospital charges £1.10 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours parking! If you are so much as 1 minute late in driving out, you receive a penalty of £40, if paid within 14 days; £70 if more than 14 days. The furore that this has caused locally is perfectly understandable, when you consider that many people arriving at the hospital, are there due to an emergency, and putting money in a parking machine may well be the last thing on your mind when your taking a sick relative to hospital. I know of many people who have appealed. I don't know of any who have succeeded in their appeal.
