Anyone got any information we can put onto this thread please?
Just in case anyone missed Emily Thornberry putting Michael Fallon in his place on the Marr show today.

Zero hours contracts may suit some people, but they should be able to choose. The ones that don't allow a person to work for any other job are really unfair.
Could this be why there is no sign of a Tory manifesto?
Maybot on good form.

I would lay a bet that he won't be the Foreign Minister after the next shuffle
Two earners earning less than £1000 each is really not much different.
It's still immoral.
This is why you shouldn't vote Tory.
voxpoliticalonline.com/2017/05/14/heres-why-the-general-election-is-a-deadly-serious-matter/
The idea of Johnson having serious discussions with Putin doesn't bear thinking about.
If that's 1000per household then it's going to be extremely hard, but if there are two earners in the household then that is a different scenario
Wells is in the list of seats where those wanting to get rid of Tories should vote Libdem. I hope Labour supporters realise that.
In 2015 this despicable Tory replaced Tessa Munt, the brilliant Liberal Democrat who represented Wells, where she is standing against him again. Let's hope anyone even considering voting for Heappey reads this report.
Scots living in England sometimes encounter hostility because of the behaviour of the SNP (something which never used to happen before separatism became such a divisive issue). It really is disgusting that a Tory candidate should swear at a schoolgirl and subject her to racist abuse.
Let's hope Tessa Munt is elected LibDem MP for Wells on June 8th.
Reasons not to vote Tory. This is how they speak to schoolgirls answering questions they have asked.

Some will be part-time workers by choice, but survey after survey has shown that most people want more work.
PS. Living on less that £1000 a month when you have rent to pay isn't just immoral. It's almost impossible - and is impossible in areas where rents are high.
I think it's immoral.
With regard to tax and 'zero hours'. 23 million people who are in work don't pay any income tax. That means there are 23 million working people out there who earn less than £11,000 a year.
While I appreciate that some may be part time workers by choice I find that a pretty staggering figure. It is about a third of the working population.
Leaving aside all the stories about how all of our generation lived in cardboard boxes and sent the children to school with a slice of bread and marge which was their food for the day, what do Gnetters think about one third of the working population earning, at the maximum, less than £1,000 per month?
In any case, if people need to arrange work round childcare, it would be better to offer them flexible, permanent contracts.
I agree with you trisher. The last thing I could have afforded to do when my children were little was to have accepted zero hour contracts. I would still have to have paid for full-time childcare on the off chance that I would get work.
It may suit 'some' niggly but that doesn't mean it should be imposed on everyone. Your DD must have an understanding employer to be able to plan her childcare, one of the complaints against these contracts is that people can be called in then sent home without any work, or asked to work later because someone hasn't turned up which both make child care difficult. They are unable to get mortgages and no matter how well they plan can find themselves without money if they are not called in to work for sometime.
It doesn't work for anybody who is the main breadwinner for themselves or a family. It's also a disaster for the future, when people need pensions.
It doesn't work for those who want a mortgage.
Not everyone dislikes zero hours. DD is more than happy with the arrangement that allows her to plan her working week around her young family. Easy to fit her hours round their needs and other commitments, i.e:- elderly parents! Not for everyone of course, but it works both ways and can and does suit some.
The Conservatives did not pull the UK back from the financial crisis. Gordon Brown did. The crisis was caused by the sub-prime mortgage crash in the US, as everybody knows.
All the Project Fear about the UK going bankrupt was nonsense. A country with its own sovereign currency cannot go bankrupt.
The coalition government decided (against the advice of many) to bring down the deficit by cutting the state rather than raising taxes. This was ideological rather than sound economic management. The Conservatives have never believed in raising taxes to pay for anything. As a result, the poorest have paid for bringing down the deficit, but the public debt has tripled, which is a bit like remortgaging.
On paper, there might be almost full employment in the UK (which makes me wonder why Brexiteers squeal about those foreigners taking our jobs), but the quality of jobs are poor (low pay, zero hours contacts, etc). Not only that, but the unemployed on work programmes don't count in the unemployment statistics, nor do 16-18 year olds since the raising of the school leaving age. The UK's productivity lags behind that of other major economies.
None of this matters if you're one of the "I'm alright Jacks", who is financially comfortable and is unaffected.
It will be interesting to see what the Conservative manifesto omits. Look out for pensions, raising of the state pension age again, no commitment to raising public sector pay, no promises not to cut working age benefits, no promises for health, social care or education, no commitment to not raising NICs, etc. I expect there will be some meaningless promises about mental health and grammar schools, etc.
Facts show that the Conservatives have historically not been responsible with the economy, unlike the claims of tabloid hacks.
I support the leader of the Scottish Labour Party, you dismissed 25 Welsh MP's so you have dismissed one Scottish Labour MP. An insignificant number for you dj, but not for the two countries you consider so insignificant , oh dear little englanders are so arrogant, thankfully there are fewer now
Still convinced Jezza is a pacifist ?
Roses never thinks of north of Watford, either.
rar "almost full employment" do you not realise this has been done by promoting and supporting measures such as zero hours contracts? Do you really support these measures that are similar to those my grandfather fought against in the 1930s on the docks. Is it Ok for people to suffer, being unable to cover their bills and outgoings, relying on foodbanks because they do not have a proper job?
The Conservatives have not 'pulled us back from the brink" they have shoved us into a 1930s economy where there are starving families, homelessness is through the roof and spending on education and the NHS is cut.
Okay, Annie, you carry on in your own little Welsh divisive world, and dismiss the rest of the Labour party in England.
See how far that gets you.
Scotland has one Labour MP. I am not dismissing that either, but you are.
Nobody has to explain anything on GN , or give way to demanding posts.
The Conservatives have pulled us back from the brink ( remember that financial crash of not too long ago?) and have got almost full employment for our country.
Now there are the negotiations with the EU to come with the importance of trying to keep as many firms/financial institutions here as possible.
We need a Party in power that can do all that, one that won't alienate big business with swingeing corporation taxes.Labour under Corbyn will pursue an all Socialist
Agenda to the detriment of all else.
He couldn't be trusted with defence ( what defence!) or the economy.
As ab mentioned, the manifesto promises everything bar a free puppy.
We don't know as yet what the Conservative manifesto will have in it, but hopefully
Some good policies without damaging what has so far been achieved.
Brexit does take centre stage, whatever people think, and it could be a difficult time.Domestic policies will I hope be fair ones, plenty of house building, including social housing, and keeping corporation taxes at much the same rate for business
Because we need to hold onto them.
your link to the swak states Welsh Labour , Welsh MP's are campaigning for Welsh Labour with Carwyn not Corbyn on their fliers .
Welsh Labour and Scot Labour exist , so take the advice you so rudely gave to me, deal with it.
Abd best not to dismiss the 25 Welsh Labour MP's again. So arrogant .
Where are your replies to the question - are you still claiming Jezza is a pacifist or perhaps with hindsight - you were wrong
