This is what the previous link is supposed to be.

A lovely video of Maybot for all you Tory fans.
Out at the end of the month.

By the way, that is the firedoor of a community centre that the Tories wanted to shut down. It was saved by a Labour party led campaign.
The irony.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 23:09:22

Poor old Maybot. Always the fire exit. Never uses the front door because she might come face to face with normal voters there.

Whatever names TMay is called on here won't bother her a jot, and she will be PM for the next five years.
The North East is expected to do well for the Tories.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 19:05:17

Actually, I apologise. I got it wrong earlier.
She arrived at the airfield by car to stand in front of the bus!

trisher Fri 12-May-17 18:38:43

Just showed her arriving at Linskill with people demonstrating and shouting at the main door and May arriving at the side entrance, Asked about meeting people she told the reporter she would be meeting 'all sorts of people' (just not anyone who disagrees with her of course)

Ana Fri 12-May-17 16:45:22

Bit late now...

MaizieD Fri 12-May-17 16:44:41

Well, they can, Ana but they are entirely deluded.

angelab Fri 12-May-17 16:43:40

No election during the fixed term?

Ana Fri 12-May-17 16:41:55

What's the alternative?

angelab Fri 12-May-17 16:39:51

Also so that there's another 5 yrs in store in case it all goes t**ts up over Brexit..

Ana Fri 12-May-17 16:38:17

Yes they can.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 16:36:12

I agree with that, whitewave. People can't carry on saying the Tories are good with the economy.

whitewave Fri 12-May-17 16:33:57

I think another reason for an early election is the way the economy is shaping up. May has been told to go for it before everything begins to affect people's purses.

Ana Fri 12-May-17 16:23:49

Sigh...how pathetic durj

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 16:17:01

That was what one of the questions was about at North Shields today, daphne, who the candidates were and where they were being brought in from. She tried to laugh it off.

Ana Fri 12-May-17 16:16:13

Oh! So that's why we should vote Conservative, is it?

Blimey, the abuse people get for putting negative posts about Corbyn on the Labour thread - talk about hpocritical.

You're just making personal remarks about TM durhamjen for your own amusement. No one gives a damn what you think really! grin

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 16:15:20

Maybot will have to give him another position to keep the Tory ring of steel around London. He's a Surrey MP, isn't he?

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 16:13:26

It's also becoming more obvious why May called this election, has packed vacant constituencies with favoured candidates and has focused the campaign on herself.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 16:12:36

Foreign policy. Which would you vote for?

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 16:11:23

I've read those rumours too. I actually think Spreadsheet Phil is one of the least obnoxious on the Tory front bench, but it's become increasingly clear that May and Hammond don't work well together.

Amber Rudd would make an even worse Chancellor than Osborne, but I can see her getting on with May. They're two peas in a pod.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 16:09:51

"I’m told Theresa May allowed her main crowd walk across and into building whilst she sneaked in the Linskill Centre via a side entrance.”
She was there for 45 minutes.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 15:56:43

“Completely shambolic - there is no sustainable plan for the North East under a Tory government.
“Our future is mass exploitation by the rich.”
One north east reporter's view of the speech.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 15:53:37

Would this be the silver lining if Maybot wins?
