Anniebach Sun 14-May-17 20:29:09

Niggly I know, my reply when I spoke of proof was in reply to
Jen, I thought the Jones posts were funny and heaven knows humour is in short supply on political threads ? X

nigglynellie Sun 14-May-17 20:17:54

annie, I was only joking about wanting proof!!! It was said with tongue well in cheek!! I didn't mean to annoy you.

Jalima1108 Sun 14-May-17 20:13:37

oops X post, is that cleanish?

He's the one who keeps our taps running so he probably is very cleanish
wink

Jalima1108 Sun 14-May-17 20:10:13

Our plumber is a Jones - his middle name is Goldust because that is what good plumbers are like.

Hello, it's a political thread so not expecting it to be tension-free but some of the comments are a bit unnecessary. Can we keep it clean(ish) please?

Anniebach Sun 14-May-17 19:53:33

best you have a lie down Jen grin

durhamjen Sun 14-May-17 19:46:59

Don't need to, Annie. You know you are being pathetic.
Get a life.

Anniebach Sun 14-May-17 19:45:12

All Jones's count in Wales , expect Jen is frantically googling now. I think someone with a naughty sense of humour was behind that letter . I must make a phone call

GracesGranMK2 Sun 14-May-17 19:43:40

arrrh their!!!

GracesGranMK2 Sun 14-May-17 19:43:08

I agree Maisie and Jen. Expansion of jobs so that people move to the areas in the north of England that had there industries destroyed would be more sensible along side a carefully worked out housing policy.

It seems so obvious hmm

Chewbacca Sun 14-May-17 19:41:46

Undoubtedly Roses. Shall we all stand in an orderly line whilst a head count is completed?

rosesarered Sun 14-May-17 19:38:51

Of course you do! grin I used to date a Jones, I think that counts too.

Chewbacca Sun 14-May-17 19:36:26

I was a Jones . Do I count?

Anniebach Sun 14-May-17 19:24:00

If it is true Mrs May has a great sense of humour , if true
,

Anniebach Sun 14-May-17 19:22:23

Proof of what ? There is a Jones in Wales ? Get a life

Anniebach Sun 14-May-17 19:20:35

Loads of them in my family ,i am not one but Grannie was and her sister and brothers, parents, grand parents, nieces , nephews , grin, you will have to take my word for it .

Oh and my milkman and the chap with the organic veg business i wonder if the postman is.

Yep, several with surname Jones in Wales. I suggest dj get a B.T. Phone book for a town in Wales and start counting

durhamjen Sun 14-May-17 19:15:22

Only one who is the leader of the Welsh Assembly who was sent a letter to him personally, signed by May.

rosesarered Sun 14-May-17 19:05:50

And a few links.

Chewbacca Sun 14-May-17 19:05:38

I've just found 14 people called Carwyn Jones on Facebook

nigglynellie Sun 14-May-17 19:05:05

Not at all sure about that annie, I'd need some proof!!grin

Chewbacca Sun 14-May-17 19:03:07

I'm sorry Annie but I'm afraid that expecting us to believe that anyone is called Jones, in Wales, is just stretching credibility too far! Really, what are you thinking of! grin

Anniebach Sun 14-May-17 18:58:11

Jones in Wales ? surely not in Wales. ?

rosesarered Sun 14-May-17 18:47:19

No! grin

Jalima1108 Sun 14-May-17 18:45:47

Although Carwyn is not currently in the top 100 baby names you’ll often find a person called Carwyn in a Welsh community

You could find one or two people with the surname Jones as well in Wales oddly enough.
