I am seriously getting worried, that that joke Corbyn might end up running he country, which will within months, put a new social policy in place to be paid for by the ones that work, and on their knees knees already, borrowing money, left right and centre, so that llike every labour government in history leave us in massive debts that will increase until, once again the country votes conservative to sort it all out. I probably won't be here it see that happen. I notuce the frugal life style Blair had, an example to all labour voters. He and his very rich family did very well out of it, pity the country didn't, particularly those youngsters sent to Iraq.

I'd rather the devil I know than one who goes totally against the grain.

Cut the police
Privatise the NHS
Bring back Secondary Modern Schools
Tax breaks for the rich and multinational companies
Sell arms to Saudi Arabia
Attack anyone who is poor, ill or old
Suck up to Trump because we are desperate for any trade
Say one thing "help the JAMS" and do the opposite
Make policies for the short term advantage of the Tory party
Brexit at any price, no how much damage it does to the UK

Do you need any more reasons not to support the Theresa May party, SAAK?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:48:48

Ok, tell me what you think the labour government will do to counter this? surely you have answers varian not negatives?

Ginny42 Mon 05-Jun-17 20:49:46

Anything less than a landslide for the Tories will nevertheless be a personal triumph for Corbyn. He has survived consistent savage personal attacks and a concerted campaign of hate and vitriol from the media and even from some in his own party. He has resisted resorting to the personal comments unlike TM and is seen as someone who cares and can talk to people. His personal rating is higher than it's ever been. Rather good for someone the OP considers a joke don't you think?

Whatever the election result on Thursday, it will be a win-win for the Labour Party for a campaign well fought.

Anyone catch TM's private meeting with supporters in a warehouse in Edinburgh? What is wrong with the woman?

whitewave Mon 05-Jun-17 20:50:39

10000 people in Gateshead on a cold rainy day to listen to Corbyn!!!!

Ginny42 Mon 05-Jun-17 20:51:32

Saak it's all in the costed manifesto. Why should we have to keep repeating what the LP will do?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:52:32

He's very strange, I'll give you that Ginny but then so are most of them at the moment. It will not be a win-win for this labour government this time. Maybe it's time for them to take all this back with them and form a proper party once again. The damage has been done.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:53:28

What the labour government says it will do doesn't make the slightest bit of sense.

whitewave Mon 05-Jun-17 20:54:07

10000 working class people in Gateshead don't agree with you saak

voxpoliticalonline.com/2017/06/05/dont-let-the-tories-win-because-of-laziness-or-apathy-make-sure-you-vote-on-thursday/

A good message here.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:56:35

Thats fine. I just know that corbyn will not deliver any of it. He looks like he needs a good wash for a reason. Do these 10000 people think he will close the doors and not let their livelihoods be even more compromised?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:58:18

Does he say he will stop immigration? Not at all. He says he will pour loads more money into the NHS. Not a solution.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 20:58:54

This man and this party will be the downfall of our country.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 21:00:35

Labour started this 10 years ago. Labour started this downfall. Now they want to pick up where they left off. Where do you think the money will come from?

Welshwife Mon 05-Jun-17 21:00:57

That is a dreadful thing to say SAAK and unworthy of you! Apart from not being true.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 21:01:41

Where will the money come from then Welsh?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 21:02:54

Its not feasible.

varian Mon 05-Jun-17 21:03:15

SAAK you may support a right wing agenda Tory/UKIP, its all the same. I doubt whether I or any other GNetter could change your mind but you need to understand that there are many of us who do not support the divisive, and destructive policies that are so endorsed by the Daily Mail, Express and Sun.

We would like our country, the United Kingdom, to be a more united, fair and tolerant country, a kinder country, a more successful country and in my view the policies of the Liberal Democrats would move us in that direction.

However, I accept that the LibDems will not win in this election and so I hope that the Tories, who have already done so much damage, do not gain an increased majority. I say this because I am concerned for the future of my children and grandchildren and all of oue children and granchildren.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 21:07:11

A kinder country? I have no idea what you mean by that? That's a cloud in the sky statement to make and one said by and ideologist, which is great in principle.

I personally want a country that is England again.

varian Mon 05-Jun-17 21:10:19

Are you an English nationalist, SAAK

As Scot, currently living in England, I am British, I am concerned for the whole of the United Kingdom. Nationalism is poison.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 21:18:58

My mother was from Glasgow, dad English, born in England. I class myself as English.

grannypiper Mon 05-Jun-17 21:22:09

Were the 10,000 in the North East turn out to listen to Corbyn call for a minutes silence for the people of the Manchester and Liverpool terrorist attacks ? Or does Corbyn know something about Liverpool that we dont yet ?

varian Mon 05-Jun-17 21:22:59

Are you calling yourself an English Nationalist, SAAK?

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Jun-17 21:24:39

Not sure what you mean granny? A minutes silence has been called on by most? Not just Corbyn at a tactical moment.

Welshwife Mon 05-Jun-17 21:26:13

SAAK I was referring to your very personal remark about JC - the manifesto explains where it will come from.
