This video shows the reality of life for a disabled person after seven years of a Conservative government (with a little help from the LibDems).

Is she an unusual exception, I wonder?

9 clips here showing Tory attack ads taking what Corbyn said out of context.

www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/02/tory-attack-ad-corbyn-remarks-context

What it shows is that the Tories are scared of Corbyn and his rise in the polls.
Fortunately many people are seeing them for what they are, and it's losing Tory votes.

Ana, your mention of the bots was on this thread, which is why I mentioned the Tory ads on facebook here.
Have you not found them yet?
You haven't given a link to them, I don't think, just mentioned them.
Can we have a link, please?

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 17:23:23

Can't stop laughing actually Annie - some are so obvious in their avoidance techniques! It's as though it's catching...grin

Anniebach Sat 03-Jun-17 17:19:45

As usual Ana. If Corbynites can support that awful lie that Corbyn was involved with the N.i peace talks with Mo, nothing surprising me.

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 16:47:50

Still wondering about that Ipsos Mori poll, but of course you don't like to divulge your dodgy sources.

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 16:46:23

Why won't you answer our questions whitewave? Don't you know the answers...? grin

whitewave Sat 03-Jun-17 16:42:08

So where is Hammond in all this anyone seen him lately?

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 16:41:12

And that has to do with Paul Dacre why?

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 16:40:27

No, it looks as though whitewave is studiously avoiding our questions, Annie.

Wonder why...?

whitewave Sat 03-Jun-17 16:39:23

It seems that Farron and Johnson are at odds with Maybot over tax

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 16:25:57

And your answer to my question is...?

hmm

whitewave Sat 03-Jun-17 16:19:41

I have just come in from admiring my next door neighbours baby. She is a perinatal mental health nurse, and was saying how depressed she gets at the level of poverty amongst so many of her patients, who frequently can't afford nappies or food. She was saying that it is common practice amongst mental health staff to give their patients money. She is appalled at this government.

Anniebach Sat 03-Jun-17 16:07:59

Was this independant report on Facebook?

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 16:05:16

Could you answer my question about Dacre please, whitewave?

whitewave Sat 03-Jun-17 16:03:41

Independent reports another u-turn by the Tories. This time it is shelving the affordable housing scheme.

As someone said this Tory campaign is the gift that keeps on giving grin

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 16:00:54

What on earth's Paul Dacre got to do with this thread? confused

whitewave Sat 03-Jun-17 15:51:51

Maybots cosying up to Dacre last year has certainly paid off. She can disappear and Dacre can do the dirty work.

Baggs Sat 03-Jun-17 15:48:43

So, each side contrives in various ingenious ways to put the other in a bad light. Well, well.

Have the LibDems been shown up at all? Actually, don't answer that. They've done it themselves.

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 15:42:13

I posted about them twice yesterday, will have to find out which threads I put the info on. Mind you, it was from the DT so I doubt whether any on the left will believe it.

whitewave Sat 03-Jun-17 15:38:53

What are they ana?

Iam64 Sat 03-Jun-17 15:25:02

I haven't yet read about those Ana. It may be true but two wrongs never made a right

Ana Sat 03-Jun-17 15:22:49

No more shoddy than the bot tweets supporting Corbyn.

Iam64 Sat 03-Jun-17 15:20:36

I read about the Tory ads on Facebook. If I understood the article correctly, the ads would break UK laws about advertising during elections but because they appear on Facebook, it seems the don't. They should and it's shoddy behaviour

durhamjen Sat 03-Jun-17 13:29:53

www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/02/labour-accuses-tories-of-fake-news-over-video-of-corbyn-ira-comments
This is about a Tory ad which was doctored to show Corbyn in a bad light.
If it was in a mainstream newspaper, the proprietor could be taken to court over it.
However, because the Tories have put it on facebook, nothing can be done about it.

Anyone think that this is acceptable behaviour from Tory HQ?

Anniebach Fri 02-Jun-17 19:08:08

Penstemmon, my problem with Corbyn is simply the fact he is hypocritical , I hold some of the principles attributed to him but he has no problem with ditching his,
