Now this really be worth doing!!

Let's start with the QS.

What will be left out/watered down! Not sure how they will explain it away as it's in the manifesto. Probably say something like "Brexit and all it's complications will mean that stuff will have to be shelved"

Fox hunting - out
Triple lock - remains
Social care - out

Guy Opperman Tory minister DWP - claimed to know how working on zero hours contract felt because as a barrister earning £250ph, he was on zero hour contract. angry you begin toncalm down a bit and then some drongo makes a remark like that!!!!!!

£ continues to fall, and once again the poor will suffer the most. The difference now of course is that all their benefits have been frozen so no cushions for those undeserving workshy or even those unskilled, plenty more where they came from workers.

Arlene Hatchet-face has flown back to Belfast, so there is clearly no imminent agreement.

Sinn Fein to meet Maybot today. I assume they will tell her what they think about the proposed agreement.

I thought Mays speech on Grenfill Tower last night one of the worse speeches of 'regret' I have ever seen. It was as you've come to expect robotic, repetitive and without feeling. I am not sure she actually has a heart.

Better watch out for this. Hammond saying that the price cap on fuel should go. That was the only pledge in the manifesto that would benefit the majority of people.

I didn't know he'd said that whitewave. What a sad little man.

whitewave Wed 14-Jun-17 20:41:33

Getting back to Farage.

He is now trying to tackle the apparent rejection in the election of at very least a Hard Brexit.

So what has he alighted on?

Blame those fraudulent students of course who apparently all voted twice. No evidence of course, but just like the referendum he thinks if he says it often enough people will believe it.

Well Farage we have news for you - bugger off you aren't wanted, or believed any more. The voter will not be fooled by you and your ilk.

whitewave Wed 14-Jun-17 19:41:19

I wonder if her Maj would intervene?

whitewave Wed 14-Jun-17 19:36:38

So the latest is that the Tory intend to govern without legislating. confused how would that work. Is that legal?

Ana Wed 14-Jun-17 18:35:27

There's already a thread about that.

Tory MPs who have lost their seats are to get twice the normal statutory redundancy payout

Chap across from me is a London firefighter. 10000 firefighters cut.

Why do those who have nothing always suffer?

Cuts to LA precept by this government means corners are cut.

durhamjen Wed 14-Jun-17 18:06:43

I'd like to know which caring Tories voted for an end to austerity.

GracesGranMK2 Wed 14-Jun-17 18:03:38

So where are the kind an thoughtful Tories we keep hearing about I wonder whitewave? I think this is definitely a case of personal interest over representing their constituents.

Conservative MPs voted to reject a proposed rule that would have required private landlords to make their homes “fit for human habitation”.

72of the MPs who voted against the measure are registered as landlords themselves.

JC was paid £20k for talks about LGBT rights on Iranian broadcasting media. He paid the money to his constituency office.

Ana Wed 14-Jun-17 17:57:01

Ofgs of course GNHQ isn't going to be taken to Court because of speculation about an MP's possibly dodgy dealings. Don't be silly GGMk2.

gillybob Wed 14-Jun-17 17:55:54

Report me GGm2 you know you want to...

Go on hurry up....

Please?

Before I go though, can you tell me (if you can?) why you have suddenly found every one of my posts on several threads so damned fascinating that you simply HAVE to respond?

durhamjen Wed 14-Jun-17 17:52:32

78 of whom are landlords.

Tory idiot calling for students at university not to be allowed to vote whilst residing at university.

GracesGranMK2 Wed 14-Jun-17 17:51:53

I understand that JC (happy to be corrected) has received a few dodgy payments in his time. £20,000 from the Iranians for just one example.?

I wonder what GNHQ would think of such a potentially libellous statement published on their forum. Obviously it is not libel if you can show it to be true. Perhaps a link to some information would help keep them out of court gillybob.

I bet the bloomin' queen is a "person of interest" to USA intelligence!

These comments are getting more far-fetched and ridiculous.

If Farage was an MP we would hear from him. If he was anything other than just a member of a rapidly disappearing party, we would hear from him. He isn't so we won't.

MN report

Votes against forcing landlords of rented occupation making their property safe

Libs. 0

Labour 0
Tories 312

gillybob Wed 14-Jun-17 17:42:08

I didn't want it for other reasons too whitewave.

I think that today more than ever, we need a strong Europe to tackle global terrorism. We need a strong Europe to tackle the refugee situation (and before anyone starts.... I don't mean we shouldn't take a share of genuine refugees).

But yes indeed I am worried about how manufacturing will cope.

whitewave Wed 14-Jun-17 17:37:54

Most businesses didn't giily for very sensible reasons

gillybob Wed 14-Jun-17 17:36:36

Did any of us really know the difference when we voted. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I didn't want brexit at all. The steel version or the marshmallow.

durhamjen Wed 14-Jun-17 17:22:57

ukandeu.ac.uk/voters-endorse-an-alice-in-wonderland-brexit/

This is good. It shows how silly it is adding up Labour and Tory votes for a hard Brexit. 53% of us voted for a soft Brexit.
