Brexit: On a scale of 1 to 10, where do you stand?

I get that some people voted a 10 for Brexit last year, but has the current state of affairs not raised any doubts? What would be the red lines? It is clear that the economy will take a huge hit, but what about ports at a standstill if customs union / trading agreements go, aeroplanes grounded if open skies agreement goes, food rationing when imports can't get in?
This is not "project fear" these are realities that some well-informed leavers are talking about. Do people really have faith in this lame duck of a government to get this complex, expensive and demanding negotiation through?

10 and 10. Just how do the faults in the EU get corrected? DC did attempt to get certain changes done before the referendum. Maybe, just maybe, if he had got what he asked for them the remainders would have it. No bending from them is there?

It is very clear that the French have looked on the mess that is Brexit (on a vu la merde qui est Brexit) and elected the pro EU President Macron with a thumping majority. The FN who toyed with Frexit have lost massively.

I was around a 4 and I would say I'm now around 2.

I had grave reservations about the EU and still do. I was particularly dismayed to see the way that Greece was treated. But I think we should have stayed in, formed alliances with progressive groups, tried to simplify the structure and made the whole organisation more accountable.

Definitely 1 stay in the EU. Then Gransnet forum members are generally anti Brexit. However if you to post a similar thread on Buzz50 you'd probably get more 10's than 1's.

As regards Brexit you are inevitably either very much against it (1) or pro (10). I know there are faults in the EU but they can be changed from within. A Hard Brexit is too damaging for the economy, a soft one will cost almost as much full membership with none of the benefits. No viable choice but to stay in, will the government understand that - little chance of sanity prevailing so far!!

Interesting that we are all very polorised on this - all 1s and 10s, and that so far nobody has changed their opinion one degree in the past year.

1 and 1 - there should have been a 2/3 or at least 60% majority required for such a major change to the status quo.

1 and 1 like everyone I am incredibly sad at what is happening to the UK. The more I read the more alarmed I get at what is going to happen.

10. And yes, my thoughts have changed since. I read an awful lot about the eu and what I read has strengthened my view, if that were possible.
