EXCLUSIVE: New CCTV footage reveals Jeremy Corbyn told truth about 'Traingate'

I think someone owes Corbyn an apology. It won't happen of course but at least this may balance the story the owners of the news wanted us to hear.

When will they get it Baggs?
Does this train carry refreshments, because I feel a need for a glass of ?

Chewbacca Sun 27-Aug-17 16:25:03

In a nutshell Baggs!

Baggs Sun 27-Aug-17 16:24:27

Actually, in the circumstances, both a and b are possible at the same time.

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 16:23:37

oh God I was going to carry on posting on this pointless thread, but will go back to ignoring it I think, I should have gone with my initial judgement.

Baggs Sun 27-Aug-17 16:23:19

Also, trisher, if you believe that the team of the Leader of the UK Parliament's Opposition would not be able to book seats, and good ones, on a Virgin Train if the team jad had a bit of forethought, then you'll believe anything.

Of course "it isn't always possible" to book a train seat. But most people are not the Leader of the Opposition and his travel team.

Ergo, the sensible conclusions are that (a) he has a crap team and he's very patient about it, (b) they had a point to make about crowded trains and private company run train services so they did a stunt.

durhamjen Sun 27-Aug-17 16:22:31

Threats of violence are against the law as well as against GN guidelines. You really should report them if you see them.

lemongrove Sun 27-Aug-17 16:21:58

It's what most politicians do from time to time.

lemongrove Sun 27-Aug-17 16:21:11

Was that a tongue in cheek post trisher? Surely it was,all it needed was a few croc tears and a violin.?
Of course, well known fact that only Corbyn fans have any feelings and share the pain of others.
It sticks in some throats that Corbyn made a prat of himself.

Chewbacca Sun 27-Aug-17 16:20:53

Snap primrose!

Chewbacca Sun 27-Aug-17 16:20:07

Reported you durham? No! I'd rather let your posts stand and continue to be read so that people can form their own opinions about your posts. And it would seem they do, too! grin

Primrose65 Sun 27-Aug-17 16:18:54

Seriously though, I would never report a post. I think it's better to leave them. Let everyone see who's ignorant and abusive.
Stays on the interweb forever then.

trisher Sun 27-Aug-17 16:18:47

Please can you post times or quotes, I can't be bothered to read right the way through all the rubbish that has been posted in search of these mythical threats.

Baggs Sun 27-Aug-17 16:18:47

Doesn't excuse your attitude, trisher.

Primrose65 Sun 27-Aug-17 16:16:57

I know Annie. We're lucky to have someone with such a solid grasp of the intricacies of British law posting in the forums, protecting us from libelous and criminal .......sentences. Thank heavens there are no communists here to spoil our liberal capitalist banter.
(Sorry, I think I've watched too many episodes of 'Comrade Detective')

durhamjen Sun 27-Aug-17 16:15:25

Have you reported them, Chewbacca?

durhamjen Sun 27-Aug-17 16:14:43

You seem to care, Annie. You are the one who always uses the word as an insult.

Chewbacca Sun 27-Aug-17 16:14:17

I've seen some things said on this thread that have been truly shocking. And they weren't about booking train seats.

trisher Sun 27-Aug-17 16:12:18

Baggs if you have some other explanation as to why people keep saying "you should book seats" I would like to hear it. It isn't always possible to book seats for many reasons, but the sheer lack of sympathy for anyone who is without a seat, the reluctance to demand proper public transport and the real sniping at people who think that there should be space, seats and comfort for everyone has convinced me that people really aren't concerned about others. It isn't something I would have believed before I read some of the things posted on this thread

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 16:10:07

I agree Baggs, who cares? Communist beliefs are now accepted and shared

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 16:08:29

Primrose , according to whitewave there are criminal posts on this forum

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 16:01:32

If they are I assume you have reported them and ensured they were deleted

Baggs Sun 27-Aug-17 16:01:29

The Inhabitants of the Echo Chamber don't understand it (can't understand it) when someone holds a different point of view from them or one that is nuanced even after listening to (reading) all their arguments.

And trisher, I still think what you said about what you call the Great British Public is, putting it mildly, disgustingly snotty

Communist posters on GN? Who cares?

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 16:00:24

Which ones * primrose*?

Chewbacca Sun 27-Aug-17 16:00:09

Including threats of violence

Primrose65 Sun 27-Aug-17 15:59:20

I know Annie, some of the posts are, quite literally, criminal.
