EXCLUSIVE: New CCTV footage reveals Jeremy Corbyn told truth about 'Traingate'

I think someone owes Corbyn an apology. It won't happen of course but at least this may balance the story the owners of the news wanted us to hear.

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 15:57:14

Then Jen really should stop doing it whitewave , perhaps you should advise her

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:56:54

trisher grin

The majority of voters are happy to support the Labour Party if there is an election this week.
You Gov have Labour in a 6 point lead.

durhamjen Sun 27-Aug-17 15:56:12

Niggly, you are getting two train journeys mixed up. You haven't got it straight yet, have you? Never mind.
Another 400+ posts and you might have got it - not that you want to, of course.

Primrose65 Sun 27-Aug-17 15:56:08

suggesting /accusing people of being something they clearly aren't is illegal.

Are you sure ww? I've had all sorts of weird shit written about me on these threads. Shall I phone the police?

trisher Sun 27-Aug-17 15:55:50

There are 2 journeys being discussed niggly do try to keep up.

Primrose65 Sun 27-Aug-17 15:53:42

I'm pleased for the clarification Annie

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:52:44

Being communist isn't illegal annie but suggesting /accusing people of being something they clearly aren't is illegal.

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 15:52:29

No fear of anyone with communist beliefs being kicked out of the Labour Party now

trisher Sun 27-Aug-17 15:52:07

I suppose if you are changing the meaning of communist, as Annie seems to do then I am probably classed as one- Annie's definition being of communist being anyone with what she considers far left views. If that is the case I am perfectly prepared to accept being called one as long as she admits her own political views are only slightly to the left of Attila the Hun. And are in fact Conservative

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:51:47

Nevertheless, to suggest that posters are communists but failing to either come up with evidence of posts or individuals to my mind entirely negates the argument.

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 15:50:58

Not at all libellous whitewave, having communist beliefs is not illegal , you seem to believe it is, how strange

durhamjen Sun 27-Aug-17 15:50:40

It can get a Labour party member kicked out of the Labour party, so yes it is.

nigglynellie Sun 27-Aug-17 15:49:56

So lets get this straight! J.C DID reserve a seat, but someone else was sitting in it. He didn't want to ask that person to move, so sat in another reserved seat, and was asked to move by the rightful owner of the seat, which he did, and ended up with no seat, sitting on the floor. I thought that his party didn't pre book their seats, but it now turns out that they did?!! This tale changes with the telling!!
dj, no one has been unpleasant about your son and dil, just pointed out that their action was their choice, and not the fault of the train company. You do have a tendency to bring your family into conversations, therefore you cannot be surprised if by doing so you provoke a reaction, favourable or otherwise.

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:49:45

In the way it being used in a pejorative way - the answer to your question * primrose* is yes.

Primrose65 Sun 27-Aug-17 15:48:09

Is communism so bad in your opinion that saying someone is a communist is libellous?

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:44:28

Let me repeat for those who might believe your assertion that there are communist granneters and posts - there isn't a single post on gransnet that I have ever seen nor are aware that there is a single poster that can be classed as a communist.

To continue to assert that there is without giving supporting evidence is in my view libellous.

durhamjen Sun 27-Aug-17 15:41:24

Those few others being the ones you suspect of being communists?

Did you know that wolf in sheep's clothing is the symbol of the Fabian Society?
I've often wondered why.

I rather connect it with Tories pretending to be socialists.

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 15:41:11

Not true whitewave, I gave you my reason, I don't trust you

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:38:48

That's because there aren't any - you would be happy to identify them otherwise.

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 15:36:37

Whitewave, I have no intention of doing so, I have learned not to trust you and a few others .

durhamjen Sun 27-Aug-17 15:33:19

Not true, Chewbacca, but never mind, you believe what you want to believe.

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:31:02

chewbacca shame on you

Chewbacca Sun 27-Aug-17 15:29:11

Attacking my son and his wife for not turfing 70 year olds out of their reserved seats

shock what a load of cobblers! It was you, durham who decided to bring your family again I to this discussion, no one else. You even got compliments on how nicely you'd brought them up. And in return, you quoted a completely fabricated survey that showed that you wanted me to be thrown under a train. Your passive aggressive traits are getting worse. You need help.

whitewave Sun 27-Aug-17 15:26:00

So do I annie and would be grateful if you could point me to those communists posts as I've clearly missed them so far.

Thank you for your help

Anniebach Sun 27-Aug-17 15:16:51

How does one poster state with confidence - none of us are communists ?

I have no idea which party a poster belongs to but I know communist beliefs when I read them.
