EXCLUSIVE: New CCTV footage reveals Jeremy Corbyn told truth about 'Traingate'

I think someone owes Corbyn an apology. It won't happen of course but at least this may balance the story the owners of the news wanted us to hear.

Primrose65 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:56:18

I'm going with
c) The scenario was staged for some reason i.e. an amateur dramatics production

Corbyn has a history of associating with people who are actively and currently involved with amateur dramatics

Liz Fitton, 65, was flooded out of her Waterloo Street home in December. When the Labour leader visited the town after the floods he met Liz and sang her Happy Birthday as she was celebrating that day.......Liz, who is a founder member of Cockermouth Amateur Dramatic Society

Here's a link, for the evidence!

I enjoy Private Eye when I am having a good sulk grin

grin

If the new film footage has been "doctored", as durham puts it, why this statement: "Corbyn later admitted that he had walked past empty, unreserved seats because he wanted to sit with his wife, and there weren't two seats together."
I'm going with b) they'd had a row and he sat on the floor to sulk.

Jalima1108 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:49:11

The fact that they did not book seats in advance was probably part of the stunt.

petra Fri 25-Aug-17 21:48:53

Chewbacca
I think I'll send a copy of that to a friend who knows Richard well.

Jalima1108 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:48:36

Yes, something does need to be done about over-crowding on the trains (worse on SW Trains in fact)

But obviously many people had the gumption (organisational skills) to book seats in advance.

Primrose65 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:46:43

gg. You're repeating yourself a lot these days. I joined GN for the first time in July this year. Sorry to disappoint. Perhaps a tin foil hat might help?

Jalima1108 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:46:33

Just watched it.

My post still stands.

Chewbacca Fri 25-Aug-17 21:43:03

I have read the OP durham , and I'm quite capable of making my own mind up as to the veracity of it without receiving directions from you, thank you. I still think you should tread with caution as to accusing Richard Branson of tampering with evidence. But feel free to carry on if you wish.

trisher Fri 25-Aug-17 21:42:19

Chewbacca it would be nice if people could at least post appropriate comments that in some way relate to the actual subject being discussed rather than making up a complete fabrication and then commenting on it.
This video is all over Facebook so I'm sure if Branson has been libelled he will be able to take action.
And as someone who has travelled on that train loads of times, if it was a stunt, thank goodness someone has done something to show the appalling way passengers are treated.

durhamjen Fri 25-Aug-17 21:33:02

Chewbacca, read the OP. Then you will see how Branson doctored the footage.

Ana Fri 25-Aug-17 21:32:15

No, I think it's just you being paranoid.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:30:17

I am getting a strange sense of deja vue reminding me of someone else who also used to find logic an issue - obieone wasn't it? Is this because we have a ghost or a reincarnation I wonder?

Ana Fri 25-Aug-17 21:26:37

Such pomposity from certain posters! smile

Chewbacca Fri 25-Aug-17 21:26:12

Did I really just read that Richard Branson has been accused of "doctoring" the photos? Is that not libelous, or do you have evidence to support your allegation?

Chewbacca Fri 25-Aug-17 21:22:53

Durham you're forgetting, again, that this is a public forum and anyone who is a registered member is free to post whatever they wish, so long as it doesn't break GNHQ guidelines. Therefore if I wish to "write all that", then I will. And if what I write causes some irritation to some, and amusement to others, I'm quite happy with that. smile

Jalima1108 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:15:08

oh OK!
when it gets to three pages .....

durhamjen Fri 25-Aug-17 21:05:37

It wasn't a family trip, it was work, hence the photographer, who was doing his work.
He was the one who asked for the photos so they could look at them all, and it took Branson 7 months to doctor them.
Just read GracesGran's OP and the video on there, Jalima. You don't need to read the rest.

Jalima1108 Fri 25-Aug-17 21:00:27

Well, perhaps I shouldn't comment as I haven't read every single post but this one caught my eye:

What party leader plus staff would just hop on a train to travel to an organised event, no seats booked . If they can't arrange a train journey how the hell can they run the country

Absolutely! No organisational skills, no forward planning, no thought at all about how the railways operate. Truly frightening in fact.

But - enough forethought to have someone there to take a photograph? hmm

petra Fri 25-Aug-17 20:58:52

Chewbacca
I'm going with the haemorrhoid cream.
Can't put why as the thread police will report me, but I think your clever enough to work out the connection.

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:50:36

Well, of course it is haemorrhoid cream for the old and I wish that I didn't know what it was.?

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 20:50:15

You mean those people who keep repeating that Corbyn made it all up even though the evidence shows otherwise Primrose. I agree, it is very, very boring.

durhamjen Fri 25-Aug-17 20:49:11

The most plausible thing is that you haven't read anything at all about the latest information, i.e., the OP of this thread, therefore there was really no need for you to write all that.
Waste of time.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 20:48:41

No lemongrove. I find no sense of humour in your posts.
