IF there were no seats in second class and Corbyn and Co. were deliberately drawing attention to themselves it would be worth it to get them out of the way of other passengers.

Apologies Annie but the comment about sheltered life had noting to do with Newcastle and was to do with people who don't know where the airports are in London.
Ana watch the video. Corbyn was offered First Class seats and refused - after all politicians aren't supposed to take bribes are they? He couldn't find seats and sat on floor-like many others. Guard then upgraded 5 passengers and gave Corbyn the seats. 5 passengers were probably very grateful but lots of others sat on floor all the way. As many people do on this route. First class of course is usually almost empty.

FGS, if you want to travel to a particular event by train, surely it's not beyond the wit of most people to book your seat in advance and leave plenty of time to get to the station bearing in mind the traffic.
J.C's principles include no short haul flights?! That presumably includes flights to Europe. If he becomes PM, would he travel by train to attend events, meetings? Could meet himself coming back!

Well actually if you are in central London the quickest way to get to Newcastle is by train. I really do think some of you have led sheltered lives and have no idea about public transport.
He didn't "donate" anything Annie Virgin asked the other passengers to move to first class and they did so. Do try to stick to the facts and not invent stuff because you hate Corbyn.

But a good proportion of the country flies these days!! and if the traffic today is to be believed they're out in force!! Perhaps J.C is a bit behind the times when it comes to socialist principles, or perhaps he believes that all these holidaying folk are Tories?!!! As you say though petra, the toilets are marginalised on aircraft, not leaving any room for a sit in, so back to the train for maximum effect!
