I am a socialist , have never left the party, even when a labour government made my village pay towards the removal of the remaining tips out of money donated to the village , I had to weigh up this one decision against the good I believed a labour government would do. It was the Blair labour government who gave the village the money back and is invested to pay for the upkeep of the memorial garden. I stuck with the party even thought I marched against the Iraq ŵar, the Blair socislist party did much good.

Corbyn is not a socialist he is a communist, he will destroy the Labour Party and I truly believe he will cause as much harm to the country as thatcher did, like her he will let nothing stop him trying to achieve his dream communist country

There’s no such thing as "her (or his) own thread" on Gransnet. People do not own threads they start.

My OH has been a labour member all his working life together with being a union activist.
His hatred of Corbyn is exactly the hatred he had for Thatcher. Annie is not alone in her opinion of Corbyn, there are thousands like her.

I don't see anyone being picked on. If you try to hijack every single politics thread with anti-Corbyn propaganda you are likely to get a few replies to your posts that you may not agree with.

It is nothing to do with not attacking a politicians; it is greatly to do with the hijacking of other topics. If AB wishes she could start her own anti-Corbyn thread. I don't think anyone would say anything about her posting constant anti-Corbyn comments on there although, of course, they might still challenge the truth of what she is saying.

If a thread is directly about Corbyn it is understandable that we get a variety of views but why she has to pop up with her poison on every politics thread and try to hijack them for her own sad purpose is beyond me.

When a keen supporter points out the faults they detect in someone on the other side it is a critical appraisal, Baggs. When someone else points out the faults they can see in the one that the supporter admires, it is picking on them.

Corbyn is a public person. We are allowed to "pick on" and criticise him and any other similar public person, who's supposed to be working for us and is being paid by us, as much as we like. It's called democracy.

And the people who complain, for instance, about persons picking on Corbyn do exactly the same sort of thing to people whose politics/lifestyle/persona they take issue with. What's the difference? What do they have to complain about, really? Zilch.

There's no point as there's no discussion about the topic. Even the OP has posted more about Annie than she has on the topic she started! It's just an excuse to pick on people under the veil of political argument.

I choose not to read voxpox because you Jen posted a voxpox link claiming Corbyn was involved in the NI peace talks, he was not , he openly supported the IRA and wasn't trusted, little wonder after inviting IRA leaders to Westminster whilst people there were still in shock and grieving following the Brighton bombing . He also campaigned to have a member of the IRA who was found guilty of murders to be classed a political prisoner not a murderer
