The Conservatives aren’t popular at the moment, there have been difficult years, Brexit has split the Nation and the Conservatives led a disastrous GE campaign and put out a disappointing Manifesto, and yet if voters had really wanted Corbyn for PM it would have happened.It didn’t.

Well I would hazard a guess a few less on the Conservative side than have been sacked or resigned from the Shadow Cabinet over the past couple of years actually.

As for reputations in tatters there are issues on both party sides and I think that is well worth remembering when trying to point score.

No one but a small number care about the loose cannon, past history, etc., Lemons, if the party he leads offers them what they want. I agree all the nonsense that is put out about him will influence in the election after that - depending on how the party has done - but I do not believe it will in this one. Many of the votes will be anti what we have had rather than pro. If they then show they can give the public what they want they will stay in power.

I am really not sure how the Conservatives will manage as, listening to various programmes they have so few supporters who will be able to do the door knocking, etc., for them. Should we really have parties standing that are backed by the rich and the off-shore when they have so few voters as members?
