Admittedly, I was asking Day6 to explain what it is that the working class do want from Labour after she made the assertion that the Labour party was full of middleclass people telling the working classes what they wanted. I would have thought that was an interesting and fruitful topic for discussion but she clearly prefers making sweeping and unsubstantiated statements.

Who is 'defending' Jeremy Corbyn. Personally I am defending logic against the general dross of nasty comments personal comments about the man. No one actually mentions him as much as you do.

One thing I would ask Why not ask this of everyone in general instead of labeling them in a way that suits you but means little to others?

I really believe Corbyn is a hypocrite, I voted for him but learned so much about him after he became leader , not rumours but facts , excuses can be put forward to defend him but doesn't change my opinion, he let me down.

One thing I would like to ask those who defend him, why keep on about the working class, votes are needed across the country , he said labour was staking out the centre ground. Blair is criticised for being centre left not far left, is the centre ground going to become far left?

Day6 Your post about the working class is even less accurate than mine about the youngsters who go to clean up. With one possible major difference. My son and his mates were the ones cleaning up after your children! So perhaps I have more right to speak for the working class than you have.

For every 10 percent more working-class voters in a constituency, there has been a fall of about 3 percent in the Labour vote according to an analysis of the 2017 election by Bristol University.
Hardly bringing the party back to its working-class roots.

You are suggesting that Corbyn is hypocritical but that is not a fact Trisher. It is merely your opinion that he is being hypocritical. As that can only be an opinion you cannot be offering one "on his hypocrisy". This is yet another attempt to put something forward as a fact which simply isn't.

And there are millions of pictures out there that will refute this. Many students and young people see Glastonbury as the highlight of their festival-going year. My own children have been and have friends who still go, despite the cost.
