The negativity on here is utterly amazing.

As is the unwillingness of the anti-Corbyn Labour (or ex-Labour?) voters to describe any sort of vision they might have for an alternative to the tories and the tory vision of the state and its citizens.

But the LP membership do not agree with you Bridgeit. They want him to lead the party. Are you and LP member? If so your views are in the minority. If you actually support another party then you are hardly likely to give the LP good advice are you.

Everyone tries to paint those who like what the LP is saying as being blinded by Corbyn - but I sincerely doubt that applies to any but a few. I haven't seen any evidence of it applying to anyone on here. I agree with Heseltine that if a Corbyn government went too far we could vote them out. Brexit, on the other hand, could cause irreversible damage. I do like to think Corbyn is playing a longer game re Brexit and will also be disappointed if he isn't.

Spot on LemonGrove, agree with you wholeheartedly, Corbyn isn't doing the Labour Party any favours , perhaps if he really has the good of the people at heart,he should step down & make way for a suitable leader who would appeal to the electorate & not the ' few' who worship him.

I respect JC, I have no fear os his policies either- and agree with them on the whole. I also approved of 'New Labour' in as much as I believe there is nothing wrong in principle with some people wanting to strive and achieve 'more' than others- I have no objection to some becoming rich even, or have big houses, or 2 cars and foreign holidays ... as long as they do so whilst respecting human rights, workers rights and paying their taxes. I know it not popular with some- but the idea that high taxes mean more money for the NHS, social services, housing, the environment, and all the things we hold dear (as we should) - makes sense to me.

At the moment though - BREXIT comes above all- because if the economy crashes (and it is artificially being propped up at the moment) and we lose financial services, and so many industries and businesses, and jobs - then we won't be able to achieve any of it. It currently transcends all.

And for this, I am very angry with JC, whom I respect otherwise.

No Wally, all your posts tell me is that you are anti-~Corbyn and that you are confusing socialism (in the US/UK understanding, as I detailed earlier) with communism. You haven't told us what you want for the UK or how you'd propose we'd go about it. You won't even talk about Labour's perfectly reasonable manifesto.

Just thought I would repeat this - it is worth repeating - still no policies from those who only wail is really "we just don't want Corbyn".

What Annie wants is the party that New Labour stole and changed Labour to Jen. She cannot see that, if you steel a party and change what it is about, those whose ethos was more to do with the original parties values might want it back - updated and more for the new voters who have come along since but with its original values. That seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Give back the Labour Party from the power of Momentum would be a good start.

That is not a policy. I know that, you know that. It's just waffle so you don't have to tell us what policies you want the LP to put forward. Pleeeeease tell us what policies you want them to put forward.

You are setting up a new party , I hesitate to say 'socialist' party, but a leftish wing one.

What would you be hoping to achieve and what would your manifesto be in major policy areas, Economic, Education, Health, Industry etc? One that would appeal to the working class, maybe? (As they have been singled out as being dissatisfied with the current 'left wing' party)

As you're quite clearly not a Labour voter, lemon, your interpretation is completely irrelevant.

About 170 Labour MP’s signed a vote of no confidence against Corbyn in 2016.

These same voters do not want a non pacifist in charge, that should read ( although I accept that maybe some do, and that may not be a priority for everybody.)
